Come along with me as I make a super cute salt cellar! In this video, I will take you through the whole pottery process, from throwing, trimming, & altering the pottery form, as well as carving ceramic spoons. You can apply these techniques to any closed form pottery and any thrown and altered pottery project.

They look like they're singing. I love them
Oh these are so cute! I love their goofy little faces!
they are suuupercute - the head remembers me at a pokemon. felino or morlord 😍
I made one a few months ago using coils in a hand building class and was so excited when I found this video yesterday! They are almost identical except these are nicer than mine!
I like that this is it invites the owner to take part in creatively using the vessel. With or without a built in function it has a fun and versatile design. You could fill it with a plant or candy or a toothbrush or use it as a soapdish or store your gold coins or it could be a spice grinder. It also invites the viewer to come up with their own spin. Your partner was already getting in on that creativity by thinking of making tongue spoons. A great idea is one that gives other people ideas. And this kind of cute never goes out of style. You shared some useful tips as well. Good stuff.

I find it difficult to sand my bisque ware. What number sandpaper do you use?

220 :) and make sure you buy the waterproof kind so you can wet sand.
Why did the glaze turn different color blue?
@PotterytothePeople
Жыл бұрын
The dark blue one is just a blue glaze. The white & blue one is from the clay I used (marbled clay with stained blue glaze) and then glazed white on top ☺️

Gosh, cute, skillful pottery girl, lots of tattoo. Wife material someone could say. For the salt cellar, I prefer closed one, because "Svanuri marili" will lose aroma in open one. If you interested I'll post recipe here
