I'm so glad I stumbled unto your amazing video. This cat retreat is so inspiring to me. I have the perfect spot in my backyard. I had 4 kitties born under my house and they have never left that spot. Great looking project, only thing I would've done differently is to char all that lumber. wood stain helps but it can't protect against rot on parts buried + it'd give a great rustic look to the whole thing. charred wood can last 20-50yrs buried & 50-100 yrs exposed to the elements plus it keeps the wood hungry critters at bay, just a thought for next time.

Wonderful project! Love the different textures on the ground. If you can buy a bird feeder (bird bath optional) 3-3/12 feet away might do. that they can watch close enough but not reach. It is the best cat tv.

Hi Catio Home! How far apart did you set your 4×4s? My catio will be 24 feet long and I thought I would have a post every 12 feet. The catio will also start off attached to the wall of the house. Also, it looks like you attached the fencing to the inside of the catio. Correct? Thank you. ❤🙂
