Hi, I saw this idea in Pinterest. I couldn't find a video there. So I came to youtube and started searching for a canopy diy. Wowwww luckily I found tha exact one. I'm flying in the air. I've used 8' long Net curtains from Ikea! It depends on the Height at which you are hanging it from (plus little extra to tuck it under the seating). Ideally 8' to 9' should be enough.

Are there any chances of canopy catching fire as the lights are in direct contact with the fabric and net comparitively burns more than other fabrics. Please anyone reply who has personally used them?

No it won't catch fire if you are using LED string lights. Make sure the lights you are using are not heating up. I have used and been using them for a long time now without any problems.
