I really don't want to be that guy, but I was under the impression that acrylic does not attach well to glass. I really hope I'm wrong because it looks great

That’s what the silicon is for 😉

So the glue you’re using is good with our acrylic and glass

The silicone I used works well, just put a good amount on there for extra stability. When I ran it, it worked fine

The kit includes extra cut out pieces so you can make a ledge to hold the 2 inch piece in the section before return pump he mentions at 9 minute

Its nice. Butt pricey. Its like $100 now for a few pieces of plexiglass. Also I'm reading the bad thing about socks is that they clog easily. They also say a wet/dry trickle works better for bacteria.

There’s definitely many ways to build a sump! With filter socks it’s very common to change them anywhere from 3-5 days or even as much as daily, it all depends on how much your feed or waste is going on in the tank.

It fit the great white skimmer with a little bit more room. You can move the panels a bit to make it bigger or smaller to your liking. I’m sure the return pump chamber could be smaller if you wanted. As long as the equipment fit. It’s basically tailored to the equipment I used.

No kids when you're putting the little spacer for the last bubble trap. Don't silicone that whole plate in place. Silicone 4 tabs in place and let that rest on top of it, so you can remove it.
