It’s to make sure it lines up right. I’m pretty sure it has to do with the polarization of the magnets (I know this because I have some of these magnets myself and it is very annoying when I try to connect stuff but it doesn’t work and I have to start over) By the way, yes, I am aware that this was one year ago. I just felt like being smart for a second
