DIY BRAZILIAN WAX - Making sugar wax at home | EASY
Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль
DISCLAIMER*: Do not put the soft wax on you if you're going to be too scared to rip it off!!!!! It'll be very hard to get it off your hair/skin. If you do have some wax residue, an oil can help break it down. Also, to reiterate, WAIT until it's cool to apply it to your skin.
What you need:
1/2 cup sugar
1/4 cup lemon juice
Baby powder
Waxing strips (can cut up a t shirt)
Cooking times will vary so watch for that light caramel color!
PLZ wait for the wax to cool down before touching it or putting it on your skin!
Thanks for watching! :)

Thank you for the formula on making the wax sugaring paste.
Okay so when it’s cooked to the right temp (hard wax) then you can use it until it becomes too cool? How do you reheat it after it becomes too cool? Or do you just make new at that point. It always takes me a long time to do this myself and I’m afraid it will get too cool too fast and not be useable!
Hi! How long do you normally wait for the wax to cool down?
I tried this method . It better and it work smooth .
Really cool, thank you! So frugal and effective, I wanna try it out with my partner :)

@@Katelyn_Torres Thank you
So no water?
How do you preserve like if in your esthetics office? Would we have to cook a batch every morning or for every client 😅 I’m seriously asking

If you have a mini fridge I would think it’d be okay in there for a bit! That’s what I do with mine. But I’m not sure how long you should really store the same batch. That’s a good question!

I would hope you actually took a course to work in Esthetics period! Because that’s where you learn how important it is to be sterile you CANNOT use the same popsicle stick to apply fresh wax on a client! So no you cannot use the same sugar wax ball on clients. The answer to your question is yes, each clients REQUIRES their OWN FRESH BATCH! (And this would be every time for sanitation purposes) otherwise you could face a lawsuit and shut down by health and safety board! You NEVER know truthfully what anyone may have ailment wise or even simply the bacteria on their skin or if a hair root had a little blood on it and that person was too ashamed to admit to you that the have HIV or MRSA or any other sort of disease that can spread by bodily fluids and bacteria. This is why it’s important that everyone working in Esthetics is actually trained and certified via secondary education course (this SHOULD be mandatory) because you can cause serious harm to your clients for even the most basic common sense thing..such as the question you just asked…. If YOU went to a spa and got your upper lip sugared and found out afterward some next persons ass crack or vagina or armpit was waxed with that same ball of sugar wax that just did your lip…I’d bet you’d be none too pleased to find that out! that’s just ONE scenario to think of…. It’s always important to be 100% sterile with every single client who comes in. Some may say place it in a baggie with the clients name on their own sugar wax ball so they use their own next time, but I’m positive health and safety regulations would be against that because over time even harmless bacteria could grow into something else in even a short amount of time and no esthetician should be willing to risk that lawsuit! New vetch per client every time. Send it home with them if you don’t like throwing out product but do NOT EVER SHARE between people and if you can’t guarantee it’s sanitary…don’t use it.
Can we use this for bikini wax 😅
Can you just make this in the microwave instead of having to heat it on the stove?
ugh i really wanna try it out, but do you begin at the top? and then work your way to the back?

You can do it however you want to but yes that's usually how I do it!

I’ve only tried it with regular white sugar!
But at this stage it's not pkuck hairs.
Would I be able to reuse the tshirt strips if I washed them or would the wax not come out?

I think it’s pretty hard to get wax out of fabric. I always throw them away, but luckily it doesn’t take many strips to finish the job so I haven’t even gone through an entire shirt yet. You can also get waxing strips (with no wax) at lots of different stores and online. Those sometimes work even better than a t shirt!

You just need to soak it in water for the sugar to dissolve! :)

Hey, so it’s just sugar & lemon. What I do with my cloths is first soak it in a tub full of water (I do hot) & soap. And it’ll come right off! You let it soak until the wax comes off :)

Hey weronika.. Just soak the strips into water for like 1 hour and then wash them normally
Can we use it under armpit area
@Katelyn_Torres

Yes! You’ll just have to grow the hair out a little bit so that the wax can latch onto it.
Can we store it
@Katelyn_Torres

Yes! I make it in a mason jar now and just store it in there, reheating in the microwave when I'm ready to use it.
Can we use squeeze lemon instead of lemon juice
@Katelyn_Torres

I tried this and all I got was hot and sticky 😅 I must have missed something lol

Ugh! Everyone's stoves/microwaves are a little bit different so cooking times really vary. It took me several tries to get it right too, my first time was a mess lol.
That was the worst recipe 😢
