DIY Boost pedal with a sharpie etched circuit!
Here I attempt to make a guitar pedal using a sharpie to draw out and etch my own circuit.
I'm doing this for the first time in order to prototype my own pedal design.
Hope you enjoy and feel inspired to have a go yourself! The circuit is my own so there is no link this time, but its just a MOSFET clean boost built around the BS170 Transistor.

Such an awesome concept; I really enjoyed watching this, dope content dude!
Awesome video! Thank you, now I can go and spend even more money 😂😂
I was so curious as to how people kept making PCBs without a dedicated PCB printer! Now I know how and I'm gonna make the distortion + soon!

Used to be able to get copper blanks and etching solution at Radio Shack at a strip mall near you. They had a great selection of all the parts needed for projects like this. Too bad they thought selling cellphone accessories was a better business model 🙄.
great video! how many db of boost is this pedal at full gain?
thats really cool!
Wow. Are you in an x wing?
Try acrylic paint markers. Work way better
Yeah we know you can make a fuzz pedal out of a hotdog a pickle and some electronics you got out of a broken Atari
