Brake fluid need to be change and flush out every 2 years recommendation by BMW manufacturer by using DOT 4.
Why we need to change brake fluid ? Brake fluid is hygroscopic so over the time it will absorb water from ambient and you will different when press brake pedal.
Never ignore this signs of brake problem :
-Brake Light On.
-Squealing, Squeaking or Grinding Noises.
-Wobbling, Vibration or Scraping When Braking.
-Leaking Fluid.
-Spongy or Soft Brake Pedal.
-Car Pulling to One Side When Braking.
-Burning Smell While Driving.
-Bouncing Up and Down When You Stop Short.
This job takes about less than 1 hour for me and my kids. Its really easy and fun job when doing with them :).
I bought 1 bottle (1 Liter) of BMW DOT 4 brake fluid (RM 37 at Bavarian Auto) and for this job just need about 500 ml only.
