Another amazing transformation!! I liked the fire pit the most as that thing looked ready for the dumpster before you gave it a fresh look that fit with everything else in the space.. not a huge fan of the article items but that is just me.. Overall the finished project is ready for a design magazine.. Your brother in law once again looked sincerely impressed! Great Job Kristen!

Loved the final space. I was kinda hoping you'd power-washed the space first as it looked kinda dirty, but I saw your comment above about the hose not reaching. It still turned out great tho! I loved all the ferns, lanterns and candles. And that umbrella.. OMG! 😍😍 Great job overall!!

I loved it all.... the idea of mixing faux greenery with real flowers was so smart..... the 10' umbrella sold me on getting one for our patio..... all of the furniture was stunning... all in all I couldn't choose just one part.... I LOVE IT ALL !

Loved it! I like how you’ve shown us what it like day and night time. I think that was my favourite thing about it was seeing it for the end result.

I like everything in this backyard patio transformation... But honestly that old table is my favorite one...

I just bought that same umbrella and had no idea how to weight it down. Now I know. Priceless! And the faux flowers among the real ones is genius. All in all a brilliant transformation. 💗

The lights was my fav! And that black and white rug in the "living room" area!

This really inspired me to try and do a little makeover in my little backyard 😍

So many great ideas! I plan to use the concrete idea on our old chipped tile dining table. And the lights, the paver idea to keep our cantilever umbrella in place, etc.

Hello Kristen I very rarely ever comment on a video but this is absolutely spectacular. I love all of your videos. I am always in shock at how much work you do all by yourself you are such an inspiration.

That black and white umbrella is my favorite. It really opens up the space and did it’s purpose to have some privacy. You did a good job for a short period of time.

This gave me so many great ideas for our backyard space. We're on a budget so new furniture is out of the question, but I love to thrift, so I'm going to seek out things I can recycle or upcycle. I love all your lanterns, and the black and white theme. I'm definitely going to make a foliage wall with some faux greenery and flowers. Brilliant idea!

And transfer the ferns to real hanging baskets that are not plastic. They might be able to winter them over inside. My inlaws get a couple years out of ferns... keep them in their basement under grow lights in winter.

Amazing work! Not sure what type of wood is being used but I highly recommend getting it sealed. It Canada with all the weather changes it can increase the longevity of your lovely work. 😊 Bravo !

Yes, I had the same thought at the beginning, it needed a power wash. I also thought the fence needed painting. Maybe a nice light grey transparent stain with black trim. However, it turned out beautiful in the end. Nice job Kristen.

Pretty. Adding the grill and some sort of table feature with the grill would have been nice for the husband to have his space to cook.

Kristen I’m excited to see what you have done with the backyard makeover! I couldn’t wait any longer at the beginning of summer when I asked you for help or for you to do one or preferably mine... lol anyways I did it by myself and it came out beautiful and is certainly our oasis by our pool! We’ve Really been enjoying it and it’s been a godsend in still being able to have a couple of guests over outside during this shutdown!

I love how it turned out- kinda wish more makeovers were done on a budget since I'm never gonna get alot of stuff just' gifted' to me but glad her sister ended up with such a nice outdoor space.

That turned out amazing🥰 did you get the firetable to work at the end?

not in TO, canada. Out west in BC, particularly Vancouver Island, the hibiscus gets that big, but not in Ontario with 6 months of cold. They don’t even over winter. Beautiful job, as always!

I loved it so much!!! Looks beautiful. Love the Article furniture. My favourite thing was the artificial flowers 💐 just because how awesome it looks.

Amazing! I love the plants. I’ve used fake plants on my deck too and I discovered that they are not colourfast when it rains. So I sprayed them with outdoor fabric protector, and that solved the problem.

The difference in heights of the dining table and its chairs is giving me anxiety. My back hurts just seeing that

But the table isn't high enough for bar stool height chairs, is it? I wonder how tall it is? The chairs are regular chair height, aren't they? That's weird if the table is a normal table height. I would have liked to see someone sitting at the table.

Very Inviting...although NOT entirely low Maintenance! (Water resistant cushions will get soaked in downpour & must either be brought in or given sufficient time to dry before use.) Simply refreshing the original seating pieces & re-styling them might also have been inviting... as well as cost saving... in the "living room" portion. Loved the faux candles on timers!

Beautiful work! I think the only thing it's missing, and this mainly personal taste, is life. Whether it's fish, rabbits, and grass, or a pond ecosystem, life would be good.

I am blown away by the umbrella! Love it! You did a wonderful job! I do think that ferns were a great idea because I believe they are a shaded plant... but the colors are very beautiful in that planter behind the dining area. My favorite part is probably the little coffee corner... I do wish there would be something for the kid to play at outside? I also prefer black/white/brown furniture but I do add colourful accessories. Those are easy to replace, the big pieces are too expensive to replace every time you want a different look.
