Small pulleys can be used on both sides to reduce friction ,along with nylon thread (fishing string that can carry 5kg-10kg )to prevent it from breaking.

You can connect the 12v dc Power adapter to the L298n Motor Driver ,not to the Arduino it get it's power from the motor driver.

It should, use the proper code given in the description check if the arduino is properly connected to the computer or not and it needs to be selected in the software in COM3 or anywhere. You can try some other codes as well, just make sure the pin number matches with the code or you can change it create.arduino.cc/projecthub/samanfern/bluetooth-controlled-car-d5d9ca It's the same code that is used in making Arduino Bluetooth Rc Car

The arduino needs to be connected correctly in the software in COM3 or anywhere depending upon ur system. You can try some other codes as well, just make sure the pin number matches with the code of the hardware if not you have to change it Other codes Example - create.arduino.cc/projecthub/samanfern/bluetooth-controlled-car-d5d9ca Similar to the code used in making any Arduino Bluetooth devices.

Make sure the correct COM port and board is selected in the Arduino software or try disconnecting everything connected to the input or output pins of the Arduino before uploading the Code.
