This is absolutely genius! I've been wanting alcohol inks, but I didn't want to spend almost $20 on the set that I wanted, so this is perfect. I can buy clear top coat from the Dollar Tree for $1 and empty those bottles out and I can find permanent markers for less about $5 as long as I don't have to have the Sharpie brand!

I ordered some empty bottles from AliExpress n got them Thursday markers came yesterday so I'm all ready to go. Hope mine turn out as well as urs 😉

Instead of using white polish as the base can I use white acrylic powder? Would it give the same results

Do you remove the tip of the marker from the empty bottle at all? The piece that you very first put in the bottle before the alcohol.
