Diy Air Freshener With Aroma Beads!

Learn how to make Car Air Fresheners with aroma beads! WATCH NEW & UPDATED TUTORIAL HERE • How to Make Aroma Bead...
Today I am going to show you how to make aroma bead air fresheners or ornaments. ** This is the strongest form of air freshener that I have found yet! And, I've made it all! Everything from reed diffusers, candles, room spray, sachets, & more. For supplies, make sure that your jar has a very tight lid. Measure beads & fragrance oil by weight. RECIPE: For 8 ounces of beads, add 1 ounce of fragrance oil. Give jar a good shake. You can also add color (liquid candle dye). The beads will look very wet, this is normal. After a few days check on beads. Shake them again & leave them alone. ** If your beads still have liquid after 4-5 days, I’d recommend adding more beads (to soak up some of the extra fragrance oil). After 10 days the beads should be dry. All sites have different waiting periods before baking them but just to be safe, wait 2 weeks. Use the same mold, or relatively the same size molds, so that they bake evenly in the oven. Baking times vary depending on size of mold; smaller molds require less bake time. Always hold the mold down while doing anything with it; 1 slip & all the beads will come out the bottom making it a real pain to re-mold them again. Pack the beads as much as possible. The most convenient way I found to do this is with a cardboard cut-out of your mold. After packing, place a metal nail or rod where you want the hole to be. This method is much easier than drilling a hole in afterwards. Bake beads at 350 degrees Fahrenheit (176 degrees Celsius) for 7 minutes. Keep in mind that several factors can affect the baking time; baking temperature, mold size, & amount of beads in each mold. I also recommend unmolding the ornaments as soon as you can (without burning yourself). The warmer they are, the easier they are to unmold. After unmolding, tie a “stretchy” string in the hole and tie with a double knot. I also highly recommend a vacuum sealed bag so that no fragrance is allowed to escape! If you do not have a vacuum sealing machine, the next best thing would be to shrink wrap the freshies with a shrink wrap bag & then heat it with a heat gun. If you do not have these materials, a simple zip-lock bag will work, too. Once you are ready to use them, simply open the bag & hang them in the car... You can also toss them in a drawer, gym bag, or any small & enclosed area/space that you want smelling good!

Hi lovely, amazing video so detailed! I love this idea but just wanting your thoughts before I try it please.. obviously all FO has a flash point and I thought as the beads are left to dry essentially do you think that it’s ok to bake the FO to high temp? I think it should be fine but if it’s to wet maybe it can catch fire? Also to many people in Fb groups say not to put scent in cookers, fridge etc because of the oils contaminating food etc, do you have any issue with this being the case? I’d like to try these but just wanted your thoughts, thank you in advance xx
