Dixie is the goat featured in Steven Spielberg's 2012 film, "Lincoln". Here are some shots of our wonderful cart goat, Dixie, when he was being trained. He is a registered Alpine wether that pulls a cart that we built. Now he helps with the farming and gives rides to children on an organic farm in Hillsboro, Virginia.

Where did you get the cart? I''m looking to do a civil war era impression with my goat and finding a proper cart is difficult.

I have 2 ewe lambs they are pretty scared of the cart what can I do to help them not be so afraid??

I watched ''this video a lot and now they pull it but I still need to train them with reins

Just let them sniff it and walk over the shafts pick it up and down let them know it’s ok I have a ewe lamb to she was very quick to learn how to pull a cart
