@@jerrywiese I agree that this is historically true. Especially so when countries have been conquered by other countries and have to adopt the other cultures. Anyone who migrates to another country should assimilate into their new countries culture. Doesn't mean they can't keep some of their own such as their religion and way of life in their own home. And no one should force another person to change and/or control them. I've traveled and lived overseas and I've seen Americans, mostly military, try to do this in other cultures, too. Then they wonder why they're unhappy to even miserable. It isn't that hard to accept and respect the cultures of a country you're living in and a heck of a lot more fun if you do!

The conflict between them probably had not as much to do with the well-being and protection of the children, but was more about a power-struggle between him and her. An older man who marries a much younger wife typically does so also because he can more easily exert control over her than over an older wife. By adopting the children, he was not only taking reponsibility up for providing for them, but he also was gaining control over them. However in this case, his young wife was seriously challenging his control. After the marriage was over, he felt no obligation to be held financially acountable for the children who were not naturally his, which is understandable?

It seems worse on this episode. I hate vocal fry, but it didn't annoy me on other episodes. Normally, the narrator sounds more like Candice DeLong, but here the narration is much more "growly."

Nothing is more annoying than that 50 yr old Dude with the Frosted tips and Soul Patch on his chin being "Captain Obvious" in every single Video by giving commentary no one asked for. Annoying! 😂

Shafila’s parents were so worried about what other people thought of them and their daughter. No one cared what their daughters did. They didn’t live in their home country, they lived in England. No one there cared what their daughters did, didn’t care what they wore.

Posting on comments is such a tacky way to try to increase views. Clutter is all it is.
