Jesus condemns divorce after marriage has been consummated. Even if partners separate for a short period of time for whatever reason, they are to avoid sexual affairs outside the marriage. Marriage is binding until death separates.

The word divorce is not expected to be heard of as a Christian, when you talk of divorce, there are things expected to be done by the dimension of the world or among unbelievers, you talk of returning the dowry or the bride price. As a true Christian you are not even expect to foster the word divorce, yes they may be an occasion that some who claimed to be Christians, but are not really converted may not truly have a peaceful marriage life and sometimes they may be threat to life, such middle ground believers can be advised to separate, and they are not to marry if they cannot stay, they should reconcile and come back as husband and wife, that is the instruction in 1 Corinthians 7:10,11. You don’t mention divorce where true Christian practices or teachings is being observed. It saddens my heart to see our Christian ministers today trying to turn the entire Scriptures to something else. May the Almighty God keep the remnants and the Church safe until the day of the rapture of the Saints.

In Job chapter 1 verse 8-12 God's boasting to Satan was on Job's faithfulness to Him. there was no picture of the wife in the conversation and it will interest you to know that Satan hates anything God likes or establish. This MOG is creating a problem for himself if Jesus should stand in front of the same congregation telling them that He hates divorce - how can’t it be classified as sin?

I WANT TO THINK THAT EACH CASE IS TAKEN ACCORDING TO ITS MERIT. THAT IS WHY HEBREWS SAYS Jesus was made man so he can relate to us . He knows our failures and abilities. He is not blind to our weaknesses. Even Psalms says God remembers that we are dust.

Divorce is a sin that much is clear in the bible. Adultery too is sin. However, with God is forgiveness of sins. Therefore, divorcees do have a second chance because God forgives sin. But we don't take God's grace for granted and use our liberty in Jesus for a cloke of maliciousness. Let's stay married for the rest of lives as Christians.

Cool video, My relationship of 5 years ended a month ago. The love of my life decided to move on, I really loved her so much i can't stop thinking about her and the memories we shared. I've tried my very best to get her back in my life, but to no avail. I'm frustrated, and i don't see my life with anyone else. I've done my best to get rid of the thoughts, but i can't. I saw a documentary about young girls in India from early teens was force to marry men who could be their father and sometimes their grandfather was sold sometimes in marriage but stay at their mother or family home until they can sleep with the husband's for some were small children .Some before they reach even 12 yrs old young , pretty beautiful young girls force to marry man in their 40S and 50S big belly overweight men some not even clean to young children.Sometimes the men die before the girls can move in with them and old Rituals they could not marry again and they not even 20 and widowed no one to support them they are poor because money were the reason someti and poverty for some of these children to marry old men .There was this girl 17 years old very pretty very light brown and slim left a widowed and poor and could not marry they end up at a home for widowed women and do prostitution until they are old and they suffer great poverty father GANDHI change that ,that is why some of the people hated him,he saw hundreds of young girls , children whose husband's die and they were suffering badly their lives wasting away he said no in those things I believe GOD will understand .

How about If the spouse is verbally physically emotionally and mentally abusive? Beside the basic grounds for divorce which are death and infidelity. like that in the case of the Gospel Singer Osinache who recently lost her life two years ago. As alleged it was due to the constant abuse of her husband that caused her demised. Will you now say that one in such condition of marriage should stay there in until they end in such way? Which bring me to my next question, where does Jeremiah 29:11 fit in one’s life at that point? Would you now sincerely tell me that it was part of God’s plan for her life to stayed, there and end up like that? Or would you say that part of the problem with mankind has to do with Hosea 4:6? Lacking the knowledge there off as to what the Father ( God) is saying concerning the individual you should marry. That men will make or take decisions that are not aligned with God? And due to such actions can caused one to be in error in terms of those decisions? Or Mercy and forgiveness is just not available from God for sin such as divorce? Because one thing I thought I’ve understood has been that there’s only one sin that God will not forgive here on earth and here after Matthew 3:28-30. In the case of physical abuse in marriage, you can separate not *divorce*( here the partners don't stay together and they won't remarry untill the death of one, i.e they are still married but they are no longer together). It's different from when someone who divorces (i.e wants to remarry or marries another person after the divorce)...

Here is one man preaching his own message. This is his opinion. This is no different to claiming that we are no longer bound by the law, but still stick to some laws for convenience favoring the preachers or ministries. The Bible is very clear about divorce

Eisegesis is an act of skillfully interpreting the bible comparing spiritual things with spiritual. Its biblical logic with sound scriptural comparison. You don't have to see where is expressly written in the bible that divorce is a sin before you can say divorce is a sin. It is what it is, a sin: a serious one for that matter

So when a spouse leaves the marriage and remarries with children for years, what do you do? The left-spouse should still stay single for life? Maybe like the daughters of zelophehad, we need to bring this issues to God again, perhaps He would rather have the wife saved than to die in an unholy matrimony. Divorce is a SIN. If what God has put together He has commanded that no man put asunder and man puts asunder, is that not disobedience? I don't know where all these teachings are coming from? I know who said this. It just means man is disobeying God's word and disobedience of God's word is a sin: even when divorce happens on grounds that is allowed in scriptures, it is still a sin and must be addressed in prayer like we address every other sin when we ask God for forgiveness of our sins: I am referring to Christians in this context of prayer of forgiveness. Is it sinful to eat food? But because it was a matter of God's commandment to Adam and his wife, when they disobeyed Him and ate of the particular tree He commanded them not to eat, did He not hold them responsible?

There's an agreement already within the family. Both of you have gotten carnal knowledge together about marriage. If these two statements are true, then you are bound by a covenant with that man. I believe that if a marriage WAS NOT ordained by God, in his (God) eyes that was not a marriage. A marriage that is ordained by God, NO MAN can put assunder/ they will never get divorced/ till death will they part. On the other hand, since sex consumates a marriage and a marriage can become null and void if that does not take place, if when one gets married they were not virgins they were married through sex before, some multiple times.

Are you aware that this man that you divorced has a wife before getting into the marriage as a second wife? However, Haggai left Abraham because she wasn't a legal wife . So you can get married to a single man, a Christian.

The message is on point and incomplete. So hear us now.. most teachers shy away from two verses. In 15 where, if the unbeliever depart, the believing soul is not at fault and in verses 27&28 where it says if that very said believer, brother or sister who was left by the unbeliever should marry.. they have eone nothing wrong. This Teacher have done the same by leaving that part of the lesson out; unless that part of the teaching was edited out.. I speak for what was published.

Good sermon. If you marry a believer and things are moving on fine but you later realize that he want to kill you but in the physical he’s still the loving husband , what can one do. He has killed our child already oh.

Separate....I know a lady whose husband is an alcoholic. She's tolerated this for years and he always promises to change but after over 30 years, they decided to live separately and she is open to reconciliation only once he heals and recommit his life to God and pursues righteousness.

@@mumidigbaro1317 she was trying to be the good Christian woman, praying for the husband waiting to change and emotionally and mentally suffering- he was never physical. She was also ashamed of walking out and wondering about what people would say...alot of women suffer in silence until they reach a breaking point.

My candid and sincere advice. If you have a true pastor or man of God in your church over you, you need to meet him, and inform him. This is a spiritual issue and it needs to be handled by a spiritually mature person around you. Someone who can pray for and with you, and loose you from any spiritual stronghold. Your definition of a believer too may be subject to review. But well, the main issue here, if it's spiritual seek assistance from a matured spiritual mentor around you.

Matthew 5:32 But I say unto you, That whosoever shall put away his wife, saving for the cause of fornication, causeth her to commit adultery: and whosoever shall marry her that is divorced committeth adultery.
