Thank you. I am indeed tired of mag dumping into trash.
Can vouch, I got tired of mag dumping steel, told myself if I didn’t make the leap I never would, joined uspsa, shot my first match 2 weeks later. 2 matches under my belt now, & I’ll never be looking back. Best decision I have made & I can verify you will improve faster than training on your own. 🏴🏆

thats awesome! glad to hear that its helping improve your skills.
TBH, I only watched for the code word for the extra entries (BTW I totally missed it the first time and barely caught it the second time 😆🤣). That being said, it has peaked my interest on something I've never considered doing before. Great video with a lot of great info. I'm definitely glad I watched it. Thanks guys, keep it up!
Thanks for the video! So pumped for the giveaway and hoping for the best to get further into USPSA. Just did my first one in August for carry optics and have another one in September!
Thank you for giving a brief explanation/run down for each division within the USPSA. I believe I'll start out with IDPA for my first match(es), and start doing USPSA.
Thanks for covering this topic. More content like this please.

Thank you for the information regarding competitive shooting. Greatly appreciated. Thank you as well for opportunity to enter your outstanding giveaway. 👍🏻🇺🇸🦅🇺🇸👍🏻
I’m gonna win something someday here lol, videos are great too guys btw! Smoother and cleaner each post.
What a great giveaway! Ty for the opportunity to win.
Awesome. But only two divisions? All the shooters in the video looked super-competent. Pretty sure that I would only qualify for the third division: spectator. I'll check it out the next time I see a competition in my area 😁👍
Another thing to note about PCC division: it's a fantastic way to increase your proficiency with the 5.56 AR. A lot of the skills learned competing at PCC translate directly to the more powerful rifle: manipulations, reloads, malfunction clearing, developing a natural index and consistent stock placement, sight tracking, shot calling, movement, all these can be honed in matches. Even recoil control is similar as a blowback 9mm AR actually has the potential to kick more than a well-gassed 5.56. Granted, there are rifle-specific skills like wind calling or distance estimation that won't be learned in USPSA, but overall, shooting PCC in matches will make you a better rifleman overall. Not to mention most folks you'll meet are great and it's just fun as hell

Excellent point!
Great video, very informative. thank you so much. Are ports and compensators allowed in limited optics. Additionally, can you make a video that speaks to the fitness and mobility requirements of USPSA competition. What you showed looked quite doable for me, however some videos of competitions look much more intense than that.
@CompetitionChris

No ports or compensators in limited optics. As for mobility, basically what you see in this video. You're not going to be jogging 50 yards or anything crazy like that. Most stages last about 20 to 30 seconds.
4th was a charm,,,, I got it. Thank you!!

This was great information, thank you. I started competing casually with GFEN's Gunmaker's Match, and have been looking for local options with similar divisions to get more practice and experience in.

Love Springfield so the giveaway lured me here, but definitely would like to get into competition... assuming they have a Methuselah division 🤣

Good info
Why does a comped gun that flips less get a scoring advantage over an uncomped gun that flips more?
What are the rules for upgraded triggers in production?
Could you guys do a video on some basic gear you'll need?

One point I would like to correct about Revolver Division. The cylinder restriction you mentioned for major is wrong. It is allowed to use an 8 shot cylinder in major, BUT you can only fire 6 shots before having to reload. Thus you can use an 8 shot in major or minor. The hazard of using an 8 shot revolver in major is that if you fire more than 6 rounds before reloading, then you earn the prize of being moved to Open Division.

That is a great catch, thank you for the clarification.
Why aren't flared mag well's permitted? I found a really nice XDM Elite OSP but it has a flared mag well. Darn it. I do have a Walther PDP with Red Dot - so I hope that will be ok. Does Carry Optics allow a weapon light to be attached on the bottom rail?
@modernwarriorsut
4 күн бұрын
Flared magwells are permitted in some divisions, but each division will have its specific requirements. And yes, carry optics does allow you to use a light, but the light needs to be functioning.
Where in the rules does it state limited optics is only for hammer fired guns ? I missed something thanks.
Lmao I did all I’ve shot is open division with my checkmate lol
If the winner is in a capacity limited state, will the mags be removed, pinned, or replaced with 10rnd mags? Or disqualified?
@modernwarriorsut

The mags would have to be removed.

So carry optics is just production with optics?

Can I compete in CO without having an optic on my gun? I just wanna get classified for now. I'll get the optic later.
@modernwarriorsut

Unfortunately not, you would need to have the optic mounted to the gun. We would recommend competing in production in the meantime.

@@modernwarriorsut Oh, okay. I used to compete in open using my limited gun. I was in the impression I could do the same in CO, since I will be in a disadvantaged position for not having an optic..
Did I watch this twice and miss the code-word both times?

I have watched 3 times. I'll watch later But I've got to be honest it's very frustrating not being able to catch the code word the first time that you listen to it. I know that there are people that have listened to and have found it. I'm not one of those people.

With the code words they pop up on the screen and arent said by Hunter. That being said, we may make some adjustments in later videos.

I have watched this video at least 7Xs, I see no pop up word that is the secret code! This is getting frustrating and obnoxious at this point!!! Well over an hour out of my life seems to be wasted! This is ridiculous! I GIVE UP!
