It has to be "murderous intent" for Danger Sense to work. That's why it was so funny in the vestiges when Banjo was using black whip and it kept going off 😅🤣

As someone who has been a massive Monoma fan every since he was introduced, this stuff was so PEAK for me. I remember being kinda disappointed that Monoma was introduced as this super calm and super intelligent guy and then very quickly became more like a gag in every instance after his appearance. But then one day Hori made a comment that Monoma and Shinsou would have big moments in the future. So I waited. And this did NOT disappoint. Monoma warps the heroes in, splits the villains up, hops over to Aizawa and then IMMEDIATELY has Shigaraki on lockdown. MVP Monoma for the win. I get it. Everyone is playing their part in this. But like, if Monoma wasn't here, Shigaraki could literally just insta-decay the battlefield and all of this planning wouldn't matter. I'm sure some people will come around to him after this episode. But as someone who's been a fan of his since the beginning, this episode was especially rewarding. He's the star. Now then, that's enough Monoma analysis. Time for the others. Toga snatched Deku and threw a huge wrench in the entire operation. AFO roasting Endeavor for once again looking away from Touya and forcing the burden onto Shoto is definitely something. AFO seemingly was about to use a massive decay wave but Shigaraki seemed to stop him. Reason being, Dabi had already leapt out in front of him. So if AFO decayed everything in front of him, Dabi would've likely been caught in the crossfire. Now, despite AFO clearly being in control at the start of the battle, Shigaraki makes that comment at the end about thinking that he used to think Aizawa was cool but right now he's just a letdown. That obviously isn't AFO. Shigaraki is the only one who's ever thought Erasurehead was cool. As he said in S1 and 6. The line between AFO and Shigaraki has become so blurred that it feels like either one can step into the drivers seat at a moments notice. Despite that, there's still some resistance from Shigaraki's side(as we saw when he stopped the decay wave). Monoma pulled the strings. And now the battles are about to begin.

Its more dumb to me. Monama has one of the most versatile and outright broken quirks in UA yet they NEVER thought to utilize him until now. They could had used him to Copy AFO's quirk when AFO was locked up and steal his quirk or do anything useful with it but i guess the teachers forgot he existed lmao

@@SenseiSage23 copying AFO would still give him the base quirk of being able to steal quirks. He just wouldnt be able to copy the stolen quirks that was originally in AFO

If Toga drinks Deku’s blood, she’ll have OFA but it’ll be useless because she doesn’t have any of the stockpiled power. This is explained back in Season 5 during the Class A vs Class B battles. Monoma tries to copy Deku’s quirk and he’s able to use it but since there’s no stockpiled power behind it, nothing happens so he calls it a “blank”. So in short, if you copy OFA all ur getting is what the quirk is: the ability to stockpile and pass on power. But you’re not getting any of the previous stockpiling that Deku has.

DIfferent Quirks with the same effect might have different nuances/conditions. Like, Monoma, Toga and AFO technically have the same category of Quirks (using other people's Quirks as their own) but all have different ways to do it. Or the ways Endeavour, Dabi and Shoto are all using the same (genetically) fire Quirk slightly differently, with Dabi having superpowered blue flames, and Shoto having infinite resource because of the ice side controlling his body temperature.

Just a few things in case people missed it: 1) Erasure doesn't work on mutation type quirks. That's how Shigaraki was able to hit Mirko. He still can't use decay. 2) Remember last episode when Mei Hatsume exploded the door into landing her boobs on Deku's face. Danger Sense didn't activate there either. She didn't know he was there, which meant that she had no intention to hurt him. That's how Toga was able to grab Deku. She had no intention to hurt him. She had a different reason for dragging him. 3) If you forgot that MHA is set like 80-100 years from now, this episode is your reminder. You may have forgotten, because the tech used by the public is similar to ours, but that's because the emergence of quirks (which happened probably way earlier than today) delayed some technological advancements. They had to focus on tech that defend against villains.

Correction, Erasure worked on the All for One quirk which contains the different quirks and Shigaraki currently isn't using any. Shigaraki's body is simply mutating to contain all the different quirks within the All for One quirk. Even without the quirks he's as strong as All Might due to the Nomufication Ujiko performed. The mass of fingers are a result of his body adapting like Ujiko's singularity theory. It'll be explained next episode if you've read the manga.

Not sure that's true. Monoma couldn't "use" it because the power at its base is a storage type, and he only had it for 5 minutes vs Midorya having a passed down version with multiple decades behind it. Monoma said it himself in the episode where they fought in Season 5. Similar logic to Toga, I think she would get a copy of the power storage quirk, but be limited to what power it can store in however long she maintains it.

@@Kvltklassik To be fair, this reasoning was Monoma's theory for how OFA works, and why he couldn't use it. He has no knowledge of the secondary condition involving the transfer of it, so he just went with his best guess. That said, I've always assumed Monoma was correct, because we know that OFA does stockpile power in some way. I'm just saying that technically, we don't know what will happen any time someone tries to copy OFA, just that copying seems to work as opposed to straight theft.

I'd like to think that ShigAFO hesitating to decay at the start was Shigaraki protecting Toga and Dabi. It's true that he can control decay, but whose to say that AFO wouldn't just go hog wild anyway since all he cares about is his brother.

No, he stopped because the ground was mud(that's why has black stuff near his food when he tried to use his quirk). It was disguised as grass but that while ground was mud like material or something which can't be disintegrated like normal ground. I remember that from the manga.

Shigi is one of my favorite new gen antagonist along with mahito, but AFO is a structured evil like shigi has goals AFO has plans. You plan for shigi but AFO plans for you too.

The PLW plan was fantastic, they just didn't expect Shigaraki to literally defy death and wake up.

They gotta be feeding Momo with poutine fries and chocolate milkshakes for the fat requirement of her quirk 🤣

Notice how hirokoshi is always on point with character asethetic symbolism. Shigaraki a VILLAIN, wears an iconic red cape literally representing a superman like hero. I think deep inside that's what his inner child wanted and him wearing that red cape represents that small glimmer of light where he still cares about others.

Yaomomo's quirk uses the surface area of her body to expel materials. Bigger more complex projects take more surface area (at least for it to be immediately useable. She could of course produce the parts separately but then assembly becomes a thing). So low complexity raw material doesn't require her full... domain expansion lol.

My fav recurring event on this channel is: Sheera the scriptwriter... And how close she is most of the times.

Momo can create from any part of her body, it is just that the width of her arm can end up limiting the size of whatever she wants to make whereas her chest/torso area is wider and can allow her to make bigger items.

*Thanks to Shinso and Monoma, the plan began super well! Well, aside from Toga. But I do think the plan to isolate the villains is a good one, especially after how the first war’s plan ended up turning out.
