Btw, when using headhunter, you can shoot warhounds in the legs to one shot them if you have stacks, you don’t have to waste them breaking the armor first

The Devs truly reward certain builds and play styles. I’ve always found it annoying that you can’t engage from long distance to attract enemies, probably just too much coding required to allow it. There are other things I’d like to see in TD3: booby traps/static mines, melee weapons, and better factoring of aggro/intimidate (on PS4 it’s terrible!).

Agreed on most points. I have no idea why you'd want to literally bring a knife to a gun fight though by adding melee weapons.

@@geoffrogers7590 Some of the shotguns already have high melee attack as do shields and Hunters Claws. Just added fun to be able to tomahawk one shot someone like the Hunters do.

I've been playing around with dread edict and have to agree with you. The 1 shot Chainkiller just isn't consistent enough. I was hoping to find a build that would allow me to miss and still follow up fast with a 1 tap on heroic. I find that I just end up hunting for stacks while simultaneously doing garbage dps in between. My aim is too trash to play mmr, so I'll go back to rifles lol

i wish the sacrum imperium like visual was on any other competent MMR cuz it is the most beautiful exotic theyve put out since support returned makes me kinda sad

Well said, that new exotic is going to blow and I'm not excited. MMR's should not be about DPS, they are all about TTK. The abysmmal ammo count and handling does not lend well even to an SVD or Dread Edict which gives ammo regen on it's own but tapers off heavily in heroic and leg.

I'm telling my two friends new to the game to put down their MMRs and pick up literally any rifle, especially if it is an M1A, more especially if it is the SOCOM M1A. Sniping is fun in Div 2, just not with sniper rifles. Hell, you can't even flex shield peak cheese with an MMR.

Hey love the content. Can you put best in slot values for the mod slots in your calcs? I use the hunting M44 over white death because I can add 5WD and a heap of CHD. Your right though it’s damage per bullet that matters.

I use Mantis very rarely because it means taking regulus off, but once in a while I’ll use a full sniper build in the open world for control points or something. Nemesis is to slow and you don’t need it’s damage for solo heroic, and I think the decoy interaction alone is enough to put mantis above white death for solo. Plus it’s faster. One thing I don’t appreciate about Mantis is how little the scope zooms in. I end up using white death a lot more than Mantis regardless, as I usually have a regulus build on.

Bruh, I like my HotShot sniper build with WD - it shreds through. But I don`t pretty like the outfit of WD (even if it`s a Mosin), I like more SR-1, and damn, it`s a shame that SR-1 has lower base damage than WD...

This is very true, moving a little to the left or right while scoped in or not although your crosshair is directly on the head will completely miss the target. Furthermore, when pulling a fake shield out of your a$s and scoped in with an assault rifle while shooting 50 rounds 40+ will hit their mark, but mmr's you are a sitting duck for pvp and pve, such a ridiculous game but I'm even more ridiculous for continuing to play

Nice content. Ive found while the MMR playstyle can be rewarding, its time to clear Heroic Convoys/Control points Vs a DPS AR/LMG build is waaaay to slow and can get you into trouble if your too close to the enemies. I have noticed though that if you dont get too close while using a MMR build, the enemies dont seem to push too hard like a AR/LMG build. I feel like the Devs have tuned the ads for less aggression when running MMR. Perhaps they've done this in light of the new title update thats coming with the MMR gearsets etc??

Yep. Ubi doesn't understand MMRs. The best sniper in breakpoint is also a dmr...Scorpio Scout. MMRs are a niche playstyle.

When you get good with an MMR, you become the bane of your teammate’s existence. (Yes I’m about to brag), I am my clan’s sniper and people in my clan hate playing with me sometimes because I constantly take their kills when I snipe. I always finish with the highest damage, over %60 accuracy, and most kills. I actually use semi-auto MMRs most of the time and do amazingly with them, namely the dread. Once you get the aim down, you can just mow people down.
