I love the pestilence

Finally someone who understands the pestilence, I used to run it it in a crit build and would always say there's no point having big ticks if in between that your hardly doing much damage, with a crit build i was still hitting around 500-600k and ticking around 1.1/2 million if I remember.

I love Pesti as well, and I found a fun build using Umbra Initiative and Pesti, not the most damaging build but the increased rate of fire and handling for reloads makes it fun

I use umbra, fenris GC and Grupo with companion /sharp shooter. Works great in solo or duos.

For the umbra build, try switching the grupo to the holster or mask and using the umbra chest, it might lower the dps slightly but the added rpm will help with staggering enemies when you hit them in the head. Also chameleon with it and try to stay around 40 crit chance before it’s buff

@@DodRegnbue People are often distracted by the amazing content and clearly could need a little reminder, here and there. Maybe something like "This build makes it (whatever the topic is) so easy, like pressing the subscribe button, you know?" You should not overdo the lines, but you should not ignore them either

Try your negotiators with Pestilence. Instead of the Yellow-Purple-Red order, sweep enemies in the opposite order and lay into the Yellow.

Nah, Pesti on Nego is a bit off. Doesn't do enough crit to transfer and dude to the ticks you are kind of limiting yourself on how much you can transfer.

I guess the Bluescreen would be the better option to do negotiators, because of the incredible good handling, base-dmg and firerate combo... Ignore the talent, it will do it's magic all allone. It's just 100 Bullets though... but pesti has the same issue.

When I was starting on the game I was using Negotiators for everything, it was good for event Speedruns back when I knew nothing about the game, I might come back to it to see how much better it is now that I’m a better player

Do it. Negotiators is a top tier set.

Umbra is for those who have patience. We run a lot between fights, and the first thing we have to do before a gunfight is sit in cover for a few seconds. 😐⏱️ Hunters works better for pretty much every scenario that Umbra is just usable for.

Thougt about Umbra for Raids DPS as well. There is a lot of waiting and rather hectic bursty encounters when there are spawns. You should be able to utilise the former for charging the damage buff and healing and the latter, you know....

I feel like my issue with Umbra is more of a brain does not compute issue.

I use your nego's with (the dam autocorrect had me here)😅, bag and Coyotes. I was struggling to do anything to ads at the plane control point. I burnt through all AR ammo and the defence part of it hadn't even started! Why don't you do a NEGO tutorial? I don't have a pesti build, I'm going to try yours.

Your mistake with the umbra is not using the bag and chest you definitely need them but adding Bellstone and foxes it hits hard

I think you should mention that the 700k pestilence bullet damage is contingent on higher expertise on the weapon. I haven't expertised mine but I replicated your build and really enjoyed it although my bullet damage on body crit was closer to 500k or a bit lower

Even before Expertise, I head shots were around the 740 mark. Expertise is not enough to make it jump from 500K to 700K. Check your head shot crits, that is possibly what you are seeing.

With the umbra build when you get rushed use the M870 with preservation

I am currently running some tests on your Umbra build. I am using the Sacrifice and Providence/ Vigilance backpack with the Shield Spinterer. I'm missing something, though. The armor regen is very slow

This is why I went Memento. One of the is screwing the other. It is weird.

all you have to do is not get hit and you either stay in cover or don't ever stop moving

Good stuff. You speak to whether a build is good for legendary or not. What is the diff, maths and mechanics, from heroic to legendary. Is it worth trying to play solo legendary ‘normally’? I have a few builds that can comfortably do heroic stuff, but legendary is a different beast! Or is it shield peeking or go home?

There are many tactics when it comes to legendary, and it really does depend on what you are comnfortbale with. I prefer Legendary in groups, but simple because I find them tedious.

@@DodRegnbue they are there, looking at me, so I suspect 1 day i will work out a way. Just for the sake of it. But its like the game gets put in overdrive with grenade snipers. And those bloody little tanks! 😂 but I suppose my question more succinctly should be, is legendary SUPPOSED to be doable, or is it SUPPOSED to be a team effort.

@@puhaty1 thanks for the tips. But what im getting at is, is legendary ‘supposed’ to be a solo venture. I can get some mad damage across my various builds, so its less that. Ive actually been using vigilance recently and it does it hard. Its more the diff in ai. I pop up and im murderd. Usually by those little bloody tanks 😂

@@bertanderny8927 well nobodybsaid it not sopposed to be solo. All you need is lil bit of patience and learn map and spawns for better positioning. And of course "secret" glitch avaible in game, absolutely legit, corner glitch. Its sometimes only way for solo legendary.

Hi Dod. I am only now collecting pieces for a nego build. I enjoy using my carbine 7 with dttooc and flatline paired with a full red spotter chest. Would coyotes plus the 4 piece be viable? I normally get about 900k hs crits with the build it’s in at the mo so interested to see how this compares using negotiators. I’d be using the bp so damage will surely drop.

Yeah, that is completely viable, all damage with Amp transfers so . . . .this is defintely an good route to go down.

I love the Pestilence. You're right, my build basically ignores the tic damage and yet it still can hit 1.1million/tic. I really like the passive damage if you use it well.

Hey Dod, quick question about my heartbreaker build. I run 4 pice heartbreaker (chest, gloves, mask, Knies, 3 blue one red) memento + picaro's holster and technician for the laser pointer for my carbine 7(flatline) . Is there a better backpack and holster to use for better results(dps)? thank you 😊 I'm asking this because, after seeing your memento Video and doing some testing of my own, I came to realize that this bag is not really that great(at least for this build) corect me If i'm wrong😬

I prefer DCH over CM cause I only need 25% chc & kill 1 enemy with the side arm & get 60% chc & more chd for 15 seconds then rinse & repeat. The only down side to me are the chungas & robots since I can't kill the with 1 shot but at least it does great dmg to their armor plate or health.

​@@DodRegnbueyes, but if I remember you have to disrupt them (doggos ) or get behind them(chungas). And this is main problem imo. And if you going solo there may be to many ostacles to remember "doing way".

I'm trying negotiator build with St. Elmo's and i have 57% CHC and 208% CHD. Just put the build together and need to try it out.

Nego with Elmo is really good. But it does add an extra mechanic. You now just need to be a bit more mindful of your shock ammo. If you shock something behind cover you are potentially wasting all your shock ammo and the Nego Transfer. So you kind of want to tag enemies, get shock ammo, shock something out of cover, and then just pure Mag dump.

Is the argument for 2 Heartbreaker, that i get some damage to LMG for long range and for AR for Mid/short range absolute nonsens?

It is essentially compairing 45% AWD. x 2 15% Cores and 15% LMG, then either 12% CHC, / 24% CHD / 6% CHC and 12% CHD vs 30% AWD and 12% CHC and 24% CHD. NO matter how you work it, that axtra 15% AWD will not compensate for the lose of Crit Chance, Crit Damage, or even both.

Instead of umbra I use heartbreaker. Chest bp holster gloves all chc so I rolled core red. foxes and coyotes. The Closer maybe better but I do not have one yet.

@@DodRegnbue have one build that uses the memento instead of the gift, that is even with a smg instead of an ar also. I have not found a build I like memento on, I think a lot of that is because of my playstyle.

for like a 'lazy' build hunters fury just seems better than umbra, the AoK of hunters fury+gunner, with passive regen momento stacks is pretty much as lazy as you can get lol; can even throw on the chatterbox
