  • @hardikthakur569

    @hardikthakur569

    2 жыл бұрын

    I think you need to just divide it as -675+354 would be -316 and then further dividing -316 by 7 would give you remainder -1 and just change it to positive by subtracting 1 from 7 which would be 8 and this would be further divided to give you 1 as your remainder. Correct me if this is the right way

    Please answer this, Given 7^3 leaves a remainder of -1, we can then find the remainder for any greater number by making groups of 3, but we also know that 7^6 will leave a remainder of 1. So why can't we make groups of 6? we won't even have to worry about signs? Edit: Leave, I tried it, both works. That's just lengthy.

    How 1/7 remainder is 1? 😞

  • @truptinarkhede4850

    @truptinarkhede4850

    3 жыл бұрын

    Coz 1 is not wholly divisible by 7 and also we don't want a remainder in fractions as remainders are always in integers.

  • @truptinarkhede4850

    So 1 is the positive remainder. And -6 is the negative remainder. Every remainder is in +1and -1 form. Ok!

    You say that remainder is either 6 or (6-7)=-1. For e.g 19/9= Remainder is 1. 17/9= Remainder is 8 or - 1. I HOPE YOU UNDERSTAND THIS 😊😊
