READ TO THE BOTTOM FOR INFO ON LOCAL EVENT WITH THESE TIGERS! On Father's Day morning, I had the honor of diving with Shark Week legend Kinga Philipps to assist Destin-Fort Walton Beaches Natural Resources Chief, Alex Fogg with some equipment recovery and data collection underneath the Okaloosa Island Fishing Pier. Conditions weren’t great but we took the 360 cameras and scored the most interactive dive with the local tiger sharks that we have ever had! So much insight on their behavior. Drinks, talks, and Q&A with local researchers and other experts about this unique phenomenon. These talks get a good turnout so don't miss it!
NOTE: This was done by experts and is not allowed for the general public. These sharks were not fed or molested in any way (you can see the plentiful baitfish on the bottom that brings them in). They were simply observed and documented for data collection.
