Thanks for watching! We were fortunate to have some great visibility that day. I guess you would have to use your imagination on the fallen diver segment...

I wonder if I can ever spot real living mermaids that look like the sculptures that Juan Cabana made or perhaps the Fiji Mermaid sculpture here in King Harbor Redondo Beach CA

The access point is North of the harbor by the Charthouse off Yacht Club Way. From memory I think it is about a 100 yard walk to the water. It is a pay parking lot with a shower which is nice for after the dive. Have fun and thanks for watching!

How did you two get to the corner on the beach? Did you park in that chart house area with the guard shack and lift gate?

The gate was open on Yacht Club Way. I think this was on a Friday. On the weekends you have to pay at the gate. We parked and self paid at the first parking lot on the right as you drive in. There is a shower there which is nice for cleaning gear.

Always wondered what it looked like out there. Grew up on this beach. Have you ever encountered a great white ?

Never saw a white. Only saw some leopard and horn sharks. Thanks for watching!

Back in the 70's, diving off the ABC streets, just off Malaga Cove, a Manta Ray about 15' across passed us. Scared me to death but he just kept on going and did not pay any attention to us.

I’m not sure. Something to do with being underwater in the ocean.

Sand in the water hitting the camera housing. I've dove that wall many times for lobsters.
