Diving mask clearing (How to put on a diving mask underwater)

Ойын-сауық

Being able to put on a diving mask under water is a skill everyone who is scuba diving or free diving should master.
When training underwater you should always have a buddy to rescue you if you get a blackout. Never train alone

Manden Ours is Olympic Size and we only do 2 laps (50M) and I did mine in 26.1 seconds (that's also olympic matching) if you have an Olympic sized pool as well you should be be able to swim that in less than 45 seconds Tops. Math doesn't add up here man.

Practiced thid there with my Speedo Dive Adventure Mask for the PADI Skin Diver course. I eventually got it 3 times right in a row. But each time I had to go to a far corner of the pool where the surface was not directly up of me, but the slanted pool lining going up instead.

The 2 other people in my class, over twice my age at the time (16yo), quit due to this. Me, I have zero issues, even with my contacts. Then that year on my first dive trip in Cozumel, I had a lady swam over me in a cave and knock off my mask in 65' of water. could have killed me if I had been any less capable. My dad tore her a new ass when we got top side. My point is every diver needs to have this down pat, don't become a victim.

Kc Linsalato He's referring to when your mask falls off underwater, in this situation you are forced to breathe exclusively through your mouth which is very difficult if you aren't used to It, also (presuming you aren't freshwater diving) the water stings your eyes and makes you very disoriented

Jesse I don't know if she did it on purpose or accidently. But I'm pretty sure it wasn't her fault because you where to close behind her. And she knocked off your mask with her fins probably.

What part of "swam over me" makes you think I was following her? Dumbass. We were in a 5x5 cave, she got above me, pushed me into the floor of the cave so she could get by, swam over me and when I raised my head up to try and keep my face out of rocks her fin hit me in the face and knocked off my mask. All so she could get in front. Your opinion on this wasn't even necessary as we're talking about the hazard of not knowing how to clear your mask, not who was "wrong" in my story. Get off yourself.

Pretty dangerous to have to rely on only breathing through your mouth as you can inhale water on accident if your nose is exposed to the water and it is difficult to only sustain mouth breathing for an extended period of time. Also it will hurt.

Sometimes when I try going swimming to much (because we have a pool) then I get an infection. This has happened for the past few years.

I like your diving videos! Could you do something on CO2 and O2 tables, and how to practice on land?

Of course you lose oxygen. If you get good at it though, you only have to use like one puff of air so you barely use any of your oxygen.

Are there any ways for me to fix how I breath under water? Normal people just breath like they're out of water but for me i would bring my upper lip up near the nose and breath, I tried breathing without doing that and it feel kinda weird, can I get some tips?

1:51-2:36 would keep me out of that pool, seriously. The pool is gorgeous but massively deep and those black stripes going up the sides look like dementors. I am majorly impressed he can swim all the way to the bottom and not panic. Anyone else have this crazy phobia of lines up the side in the deep end? They don't bother me in the shallow end. But the deeper the pool, obviously the bigger those lines are and they're just staring out at you, ready to pounce. You can call me crazy if you want to, but this dude has major bravery for not being terrified of those things.
