We dove in Key Largo in June / 2016 to explore the Marine Park.
Coral reefs that stretch along the southern coast of Florida, is the third largest barrier reef in the world.
In the Keys, they are within the limits of the National Marine Sanctuary, so designated since 1990.
These corals are directly related to the existence of about 6,000 species of marine life present there.
For the local economy, it is estimated that the corals are responsible for generating about $ 4.5 billion in sales and 70,500 jobs.
