It's a thrill to hear Swami speaking in your language. He's got all the big words down pat, but in the little things you notice he doesn't have the familiarity and comfort of a native language. As divine as He is, also equally endearingly human :)

Ramayan, Once King Dasaratha (father of Lord Ram) try to kill deer in forest but Unfortunately Sarvan Kumar was killed by him.So the father of Sarvan Kumar gave Abhishap (bad luck) In this part, why king Dasaratha try to kill a deer who came to drink water. Is it Correct that Dasaratha like to eat meat 🍖. Lord Rama also once try to kill a deer in forest to fulfill wish of mata sita. whether lord rama and Mata Sita like to eat Dear Meat 🍖 Please resolve my doubt Is Swami teach any lesson in this regard?

Yes, Sairam, Swami has clearly indicated in one of his discourses during the Summer classes, that Jeeva-himsa was done by Rama and Lakshmana even while they were in Dandakaaranya, against wild beasts and demons roaming in the forest and that mother Sita even requested Rama to not undertake such actions..she also extols that a lion among men has 3 good qualities and those were talking truth always, never looking at another person's wife and ahimsa...She also appreciates that Rama her husband is strictly following the first two dictums but not the third... But Rama replies to her that Dharma samrakshana was the aim of his avatar and he has to use his bow and arrow to protect sadhus and rishis even while in the forest who were seeking his protection with great devotion. But Sita is not satisfied with these answers. Also in the matter of chasing the golden deer, actually mother Sita wanted to possess the deer only as a pet, and not for food. But Swami explains clearly that their food in the forest was only fruits and tubers which Rama and Lakshmana collected from the forest and not meat. Also we should consider and practice only the Dharma proposed by the Avatar himself and not to concentrate on the actions done by other characters like Dasaratha or others in Ramayana.
