Brings back memories this battle. When diversity went under the name Swift Moves. KI were 32-0 in the jumpoff crew dance. They just won the world hiphop championships 3 days previous and this was their last jumpoff battle. They were finalists on Move like MJ under the name plague!

That kid, mitchell, was their secret weapon - especially when he first came out because he surprised everyone. The funny part was when he was taking the mick out of K.I - with his shirt and when he was pretending to be an old man who didn't care at all!

I don't know the difference b/w the two groups, but I feel that the gray team had much more original and entertaining moves, but the team in black had such great execution. There moves were all perfectly crisp, practiced, and in sync and they seemed so confidant in their moves. For me, I would rather see the black team b/c they look so practiced and professional.

Diversity had creativity and skill on their side. And besides, every performing group knows that talent alone means squat if you don't know how to use it. Not Diversity's fault that K.I couldn't come up with the right stuff to win.

KI is my favorite dance crew but i hate to say this but they got served big time

To me, KI won because technically they're were better, their execution and sync were way better. Diversity were a little more original, only the part with the caps was clean, execution-wise. Anyway, I think they won cause of their energy, and the hype they brought with the kid. A battle gets won by good dancing but also by croud screaming. Diversity did that more.

Everyone was dope, but they all reminded my of "You got served"

Ki were the better dancers by experience. SM aka Diversity had KI rattled more than any other dance group I have seen them compete against. SM is about a year from having KI's dance flow and showmanship at this point. This is more like a teacher battles student dance video.

I agree. Though Diversity were a bit sloppy in terms of execution, they more than made up for it in attitude - cockiness, if you will. They were totally in KI's face and KI seemed like they were reacting. Plus Diversity took up the whole dance floor, giving them more presence.

K.I's dancing was flawless but diversity totally had the upper hand with the choreography :D loved both

Yeah, Flawless had better technique as well, but Diversity still won. Skills is nothing without being creative, and that's what gave Diversity the edge to win because not only they can dance well but their dance is also a storytelling.

@Troyellaislove Mitch was 5 when he started dancing but Swift Moves (before it was Diversity) was formed at around 2006, about 3 years before BGT, so Mitch is about 9 in this, but before that he was dancing at the studio and learning from Ashley. I would assume that Sam joined in 2006 as well since Mitch is already in the group, they've shown pics of the Diversity boys from when they were young and Sam was in those pics, so I would think Sam would be an original member.

True Diversity is Diversity, But K.I collectively in there own crews, like: Plauge, Peridot, Boy Blue, Cirque Du Soliel, Prototype, Flawless, Fiya House. are doing in both Underground and mainstream.

@alya24izz he was 13 on BGT 2009 and this was 2005 so my guesstimate would be 8 or 9... He is soooooo small but then ash is ridiculously tall too. Hope that helps

i believe that ki shouldve won that because they were well sychronized had some nice moves, and technique,while diversity had some nice tricks and everything but that one guy messes up alot, and they are not as sychronized, it seemed really messy....but diversity is still really good.
