When I first saw your video when you first started I could see you had the heart and love of expressing your desire to inspire to giving the best possible advice and guidance,knowledge of scuba diving! I guess this is why I always enjoyed your videos and as I watched your last video to hear my you tube name called as a long time viewer called out well it felt good! I always look forward to your videos because they are very informative and reliable! My future with scuba diving is the mechanics of the sport since I am terrible at photography and video 😂 well we have to admit our faults to be honest and human! I too have a day time job and do everything to advance in scuba diving. I would like to think I could go to this field as you have to help others as scuba diving has helped me! Maybe one day I might even try dry suit diving 🥶 but only if it’s heated! Again I was totally shocked to hear my you tube name called out but very honored that you said that 👍 Don’t worry I will always look forward to your next videos! Thank you again my friend!

Thanks so much for the feedback and glad I nailed the handle haha. Yeah I think I’ll advertise it in a dedicated video sometime in 2024, start with maybe 5 people to test drive it and get feedback, then try another 5, and get it to where it’s worthwhile. Buoyancy, air consumption, trim, pro diver tips, finning, there’s a lot of things people can do. But what do people WANT versus me coming up with something no one wants haha.

I've learned in my short time as a scuba diver there are a lot of egos in and out of the water along with a lot of "judgement". I enjoy your channel so much because you definitely do not display any of that. I've learned a ton on your channel so far. Keep up the solid work.

I’m sorry to hear you’ve experienced that in a short time of being in the diving community. It does exist, but I don’t like to hear that newer divers are already seeing it, dang :/ I’m glad you’re here, and thanks for sharing your feedback and that you’ve learned a ton! That’s all I really want - share the joys of diving with as many people as I can.

Come Dive with me done at the nc coast would be good. Like wreck diver and/or deep diver certification at the NC Coast. Lots and lots of wrecks.

Oh yeah I love the wrecks out there. I just talked to one of the guys at my shop today about which charters we are booking in 2024 so I know what my schedule is for going out there haha. We book with a few of the coastal charter shops out there.

Congrats on killing it on youtube! I am local to ya, certified by CDC in August. Heading off on a Cabo Trip with Sarah @Azul Unlimited in a few weeks and then back to Cabo for a Socorro’s trip with Olympus in mid January..I obviously got the let’s go diving bug😂! Look fwd to meeting you locally one day and will keep an eye out for your merch and dive trip if you start planning those.

@@CircleHScuba you need to combine both…the last hats and shirts I bought have dive shops logo with some cool graphics on them…..looking at all my ball caps they are branded to some degree…fishing, boating, diving, american flags and so on

Haha well I have some samples arriving this week that I’m excited about, and I’m working on some designs now too that are for divers with maybe my logo somewhere just for branding purposes but it’s not the main focus. If you have any specific requests I’m all for trying to design something fitting, but I have some unique ideas I’m excited about too 😜

Great question! I am actually working on a video for ear care in January (I hope) But, rather than make you wait the short answer that works for a lot of people is to use isopropyl alcohol or buy a product called “swimmers ear” and put a couple drops in your ear after diving, then dump your head to the side. It helps dry it out. Don’t over dry your ear though or you’ll hurt yourself. Stream2sea also just came out with (or it’s coming soon, check their website) a new ear care product that seems great! Black mask strap with a Circle H logo could be a cool merch idea. Remote lessons is also an interesting. Just trying to wrap my head around it a bit as there are obvious limitations. As for content, I really enjoy dive reaction videos as they can be very educational. Perhaps someone video themself diving and pay you a fee to do a reaction video that gets posted for all to learn from.

Like the mask strap covers? I’m 100% thinking of getting some made for myself and local students anyway so I’m absolutely down for that. As for the lessons, yeah I think it would be for certified divers and something where you set up an action camera (for example) and record yourself. If that wasn’t possible it would be more limited, but I’m thinking “okay let’s try this, then do these skill practices,” etc and checking in once a week maybe to see how it’s going. Say you want to back kick, or want help with underwater photo or video, or equipment rigging/adjustments, that sort of thing. It could be a one off session or repeated. I’d plan to start with maybe 5 divers as a test and just collect feedback and testimony, then go from there with iterations haha. Reaction videos are something I’ve considered out of inspiration from @DiveTalk. I think from an educational form, doing it the way you’re saying would be pretty sweet actually. I could get a course director friend to join I bet and we can review say, people looking to go pro or improve their instructor and DM skills, or if people wanted to do a “public coaching” call perhaps! I like that!

I like merch that’s functional but understand others may just want a t-shirt which arguably also serves a function 😆 Re: lessons, I could see what you’re proposing work. I recently requested a two hour finning class with a local instructor where he walked us through frog, helicopter, and back kick. I think most of it could have been accomplished by remote coaching and critiquing a self-recorded video. I agree that dive reaction videos are better with two people and some humor thrown in. DiveTalk does a great job with this.

DiveTalk are great with it haha. Re: the strap vs shirts, totally! I just said shirts as an example because I like shirts and hats that show who I am, a diver, and don’t necessarily wanna wear a rash guard haha. Like normal shirts with dive themes can be cool too but I only see them at very large shops or on vacation!

Where are you looking to go? I can try to recommend some places but there are dive sites all over so it may be hard without you knowing a little of where you’d like. I really enjoy the Dutch Caribbean for example!

Congratulation! Nowadays, KZread bubble Economics is decreasing. so not everybody can be monetized. Probably, you have nostalgic feelings when you were a beginner, and do a lot of Try & Error. I am very happy your effort was paid off!
