Dive Rite Hydro Lite Travel BCD - Review/Overview - Modern Diver Channel
Welcome to the first episode of our gear reviews! In light of travel season, we figured we would start off with a new travel BCD on the market.
The Dive Rite Hydro Lite is new for 2020 and is an awesome light weight BCD. With the advance diver in mind this BCD should fulfill your destination recreational and entry level technical diving needs!
This BCD was lent to us by our sponsor Dans Dive Shop. If you interested in ordering one of these units for yourself check out the link below!

Great job Chris! I also reviewed this BCD and absolutely loved it!
very informative thanks
Great review chris hope next time we can see how it folds up in a travel bag and the space it takes .. you're great keep up the good work waiting for the next vid. Thanks again
Keep up the good work Chris!
Good job, Chris!!!
Very attractive BCD. Great review
Good review. I have Zeagle Stilleto which I love but it is more bulky than the Dive Rite. I think I will buy one before my next trip.
Great review Chris! Seriously considering one of these to replace my jacket-style BCD. Question: Should I be concerned that the bottom tank strap is a Velcro-type strap and not a buckle? I'm thinking it's OK since the top strap is a buckle. Thanks.

Thanks man! It really is a cool BCD. Alot of jacket style BCDs only use one primary tabk strap. I personally do like using two and most backplate style BCDs also use two however this is kinda the best of both worlds. It has the stability of 2 straps but stays light weight with only one metal buckle. I would rather one metal buckle over 2 plastic ones. As long as your make sure you secure the metal one correctly the tank isnt going anywhere. Overall ya i believe this hydro lite is secure enough for most recreational cylinders 👍
