    Don't remember much of the anime, but I don't feel as if the writing left anything that was supposed to open left open unless it was just one of those slice of life moments that truly never have a resolution. Will say the Twins always did weird me out, but if you are reading this Muta I also highly recommend watching the anime. The anime did make me laugh really hard one time just because of a memory it made. Me and a friend were at a convention and they had the episodes showing. Vic Mignogna was a guest at the convention, so I told my friend about how he voiced a main character in the show. We sat down and started watching for a bit until my friend looked around and noticed nothing but females were in the room besides us and one other dude who I felt sad for because he was laughing at parts that weren't even meant to be comedic ( more power to him for truly enjoying the show though lol). We awkwardly got up and left since we felt weirded out being in a room full of females watching a romance anime lol.

    The confusion as to whether or there was any actual incest in Ouran is easily remedied by paying attention when watching the show. They very clearly state multiple times throughout the run that it's all a performance for the girls visiting the titular host club. Also, it is indeed not that deep. It's a silly little slice-of-life reverse harem that makes for a fun casual watch.

    The brothers have an unhealthy attachment to one another, this is also admitted by them at some point in the story. So they're aware that they're weird but they also play it up for the Host Club.

  • @Kenshin6321
    @Kenshin63217 ай бұрын

    Ouran Host Club is a classic. In a nutshell, it's about a girl that looks like a boy and all of these guys fall in love with her, but they think she's a boy. So there's a lot of back and forth about "omg am I gay?" And no, they never released a season 2. I've also never seen anyone care about it that much, but I dated a girl who really liked it, so that's how I came about knowing it. It's quite popular, but it's definitely not an anime a casual watcher would know about because there aren't too many anime like it. Although, there is a Korean Drama called "Coffee Prince" and it's basically the same show, except live action with Korean actors. Quite funny, and it was my first K-drama that got me into it.

    I'd beg to differ. Internet is the same more or less, problem is. Who's in control now Ever since the 90s, things became more corporate and less personal. It's not like it died, but it's been quite literally buried. I mean, it wasn't until this or last year that I heard about Neocities Services like that bring back the simplicity of having your own site, unlike say, Squarespace

  • @Sypher474

    @@RadikAlice Sounds like you don't differ at all, that's exactly our point. The surface web used to be personal and diverse, now all the interesting personal stuff is buried by a handful of corporate mega sites and all the users are stuck there. That's the fundamental change.

    Muta, Im a long time follower. It might say I haven't been subscribed long, but that's only because I was too lazy to subscribe. Anyway, I have a topic I want you to talk about. Recently Ubisoft bombarded their games with ads for the whole black Friday/ Cyber Sunday thing. I'm not talking ads on the TV or KZread, but their actual games. I just figured you could talk about it. Went out of my way to make this a paragraph so you would actually read it.

    If anyone is wondering, Yggdrasil is the Scandinavian mythological version of the Tree of Life. I only really know that from Captain America and some limited Viking lore, so there's probably more to it.

    It's not just web browsing that you can do in a terminal but watch movies too. I watched part of Star Wars animated with ascii art. There are even GPU accelerated terminals for... who knows but it's pretty cool.
