@@carribgirl007 Sound like a weh day you born so me can't expect you to know any better. Carnival has never always been apart of Jamaican culture, carnival is from Trinidad and if you were old enough you would know that.

Why should tax payers foot the bill and not the organizers of the event? It is as simple as, the organizers foot the bill or not get another permit until they do so.

While we allow animalistic behavior in public what else do we expect? SMH.

Agreed. I totally don't get this. Why aren't the carnival organizers being sent the bill, sued, and forced to pay? Also, why all the government bureaucracy? Didn't the event organizer have to pay for a permit to put on the event? Weren't they precharged for clean-up costs and insurance to pay for property damage?

Isn't it water paint? Should just be a quick wash away. But them friend affi make the money from it. So until them friend is the one to be paid. Nothing won't be done

It is water based but still can leave permanent discolouration if not cleaned promptly

Street dances are just as profitable with little to no clean up

But dem a fight reggae/dancehall. Carnival mek billions of dollars so there should be a budget for the cleanup. Just like there is a budget to keep the event.
