It should go to a non partisan boring just the news type of media group. I have a friend who was falsely accused of molesting a child, and actually did jail time because of it. He was acquitted, but his life was completely ruined. He could never find a job making much more than minimum wage. False accusers should get the same jail time as the crime they're accusing someone of and be publicly shamed.

I have been twice falsely accused. Once was just after high school by the mother of a girl I had dated for years, but had broken up with. Luckily, the girl, legally an adult, set her straight and wouldn’t allow her to call police, so it went no further. But I was terrified. The second time I was falsely accused of harassment by a part INE secretary because I wouldn’t fire my full time secretary and promote her to full time. So she made up phony charges to my superiors to try and end my 15 year career with that company. Having seen others go through that process before I knew what would happen if I fought it, guilty or not guilty, so I just didn’t deny it and apologized for whatever I may have done, but still refused to fire my secretary and promote her. She quit immediately. No action was taken against me except a black mark on a spotless career all because of an immature young woman wanting a job. It’s awful to be falsely accused. There is no real defense against it. It’s entirely your word against hers and unless she will back off there isn’t much you can do.

Its so scary that even a public allegation, despite being proven immediately to be utterly false, will ruin a man's life. This is known. Hell hath no fury...etc. Protections should begin with anonymity on both parts, including the accuser who may (and some have) be trying to gain in exposure and to launch their own careers etc..

The behaviour of “journalists” towards Kabanaugh tells us all we need to know. BBC in particular are the lowest of the low.

This is one of the most evil things you can do to another human being... and fucks it up for woman who have faced abuse for real.

A former friend of mine is a newspaper editor. When a woman questioned why a story about her was so inaccurate, putting words in her mouth and creating a story that never existed, his reply was, "As a journalist, I go into a story with a direction I want to take it, so I will add, remove or change elements of the story to take it that direction." The modern 'journalist' is a failed fiction writer, still writing fiction, but passing it off as 'news'.

I've been a part of tons of interviews and I've never seen anything like this before. This is more like acting than coaching.

When a journalist says "what a wonderful outcome" that confirms my worst fears about the MSM and sends a chill down my spine.

Even nuns will falsely accuse a man. I had worked at a school run by Sisters of Mercy nuns. A cover up needed to take place so the school leaders made a written false report to damage me and turn people against me. At a later stage the head nun must have felt guilty that I was damaged by lies so she told a story about white lies. She did not admit to a lie or say what the story related to but it was obvious. She said that if a lie is for the overall good of the community it was a white lie. (So it was for the good of the community for me to be damaged to protect the nuns holy image.) I'd actually refer to them as propagandists... not gossip/drama. Their focus is MUCH worse than a gossip journalist. It is an open secret that gossip news is rarely (if ever) true.. but THESE journalists are trying to put the stamp of truth on lies. MUCH worse to me.

Knowing someone who is proud to display journalistic credentials and a long career within the field I was unimpressed, when accompanying them, to witness the interview as a pointless exercise regarding investigating the story and instead forming a quest to get pithy quotes to litter the narrative already composed. Ever since that day I've doubted the morals and ethics of that trade. The interviewee, thinking the new publication was taking a different editorial approach, couldn't have looked more crestfallen and resigned when they realised it was more of the same. From my perspective all the journalist had any interest in was getting another notch on the byline post to inflate their already huge ego.

The point is that if these people can hide behind a blurred screen and accuse another whose face is NOT blurred, and whose reply isn’t allowed to be coached and prepared ahead of time, then why SHOULDN’T the accuser be required to expose their own identity? You’re on social media. You’re well aware of the difference in the way people respond to others when their REAL name is on their account, versus when they’re hidden behind a pseudonym and a VPN... and unless you’re stupid, you can see that “anons” on social media are often downright bilious and vile toward others. If citizens are denied the right to face actual accuser’s in court to be cross examined , the whole case should be thrown out and any records destroyed. The way women can accuse a man of horrific crimes but remain anonymous....how could that go wrong?

I’m sad to say that I’ve had to say to my 15 year old son that you need to be really careful about being alone with girls and being in situations where it’s your word vs theirs as your words will matter less.

The nonchalant way the "victims" took their direction like professional actors prepping for a role, asking "Was that good enough?". Anyone who makes false accusations should be subject to the same consequences as the person they accuse. There are too many people willing to make a false accusation because there is no real backlash. They don't go to jail they just fade into the background.

Here in America there have been politicians who have been accused of sexual harassment, and even sexual assault, but since they're leftist Liberals, they are shielded by their fellow leftists, and it's the women who are demonized.

I was interviewed by the BBC for a stabbing and the 2 minute interview was actually 45 minutes long where they asked over and over the same thing but asked me to use different phrasing , then coached me in to saying exactly what they wanted if they cut my words in to sound bites , it fabricated a story that didn't happen , I asked them to retract the interview and never got a response

Remember, when any of these idiots come for you, never back down and unload on them. call sky news for some help.
