Not saying you aren’t a great guitarist but keep playing that one often because it’s one of your best. You nailed that song down to every last dynamic. Very impressive. If you played that for someone live you’d get the job.

It's true, I've recently started playing some Disturbed songs myself and I can spot the subtle differences between the new covers and the old. As an example -- he's downpicking a lot more in these new ones than compared to 10 years ago. Also, he seems a bit more relaxed and having more fun. I've been looking up to him ever since I bought my first guitar.

I just got my first lefty Ibenez GRX-70 for Christmas and Dan is my favorite guitarists and Dan said you did it better and he wrote the thing! Thats insane man. I hope to get to that level one day. i was trying to figure out if i should play the main riff all downstrokes or alternate… then i found donegan’s vid, and your vid, both all downstroke. then i found your older vid from like 10 years earlier where you did alternate! i have decided on all downstroke. definitely sounds better. awesome cover!
