This is how you upload your music on Distrokid in 2024. The procedure isn't very complicated but can be quite confusing at some points. There are also a few things that you probably don't want to do.

In this DistroKid 2024 Tutorial i upload a new track and go through the whole process step by step. I show all the streaming services that are available (as of February 2024), and explain the difference between Single- and Album-Uploads and how to set up the release date.
Another critical step is the Artist Name, you really don't want to mess this up. Personally i always worry about the Genres/Subgenres that never feel right. In times of AI and all-mighty algorithms i wonder why this relict from the 1990s is still a thing.
I also talk about the Artwork requirements, song info and DistroKid's optional extras. Even más importante are the mandatory checkboxes at the end of the DistroKid Upload Page.
After everything is done i still have a little warning for you, but after all releasing music with DistroKid is really easy.
PS: We're not talking about political stuff here, whether DistroKid is good or bad... that kind of thing ;)
