I understand what you mean but keep practicing. I've watched hair videos 2008. I'm NOT talented in the hair dept. Something finally clicked and I can do twists adding in hair. Shockingly ladies are now asking ME who did my twists. 57 years old. Can't cornrow, flat twist, or part my hair nice. Keep trying♥️

Hi Chev, I literally did this style with the same hair... only difference is I also used 1b/30 colour as well as the 1b/27 to get some colour variation and dimensions. Searched high and low on KZread for a tutorial on this and here you come after I struggled through it lol. At least it will make it easier for others. Love from 🇹🇹

okay girls, this is the one. i am currently doing my own for the second time around, started playing with different types of hair that work on my head and circled back around to this video. i wish we could post pics in the comments but anyways, its coming out bomb. only on the first row in the back of my head but they look so much better the second time around and with the afro hair to thicken the lock! exactly what im looking for!

Love this look! I plan to do the butterfly locs in the next few days on myself. I also purchased lulutress, it looks like it has a more silkier texture for this style, and I also got the Cuban twist being that it has a kinky texture to make my locs fuller! ✨🧡

Sis all u need is someone if not self to neatly part and plait or twist ur natural hair or add a lil if definition n length is an issue. Crochet the hair thru that ur gonna wrap around ur twists. U CAN DO IT.
