Distress Oxide Butterfly Card
Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль
In this video I play with some of my new Distress Oxide ink pads to create a colorful panel. Then I create a "Thank You" card using die cut butterflies to enhance the painted panel piece. Enjoy!

Love! Gotta try! Tfs, Laura
Usually you see multiple colors being swiped at once. I like that you used one at a time to give it more control. It never occurred to me to do that, considering seeing multiples being done all the time. Thank you so much!
Great demo on the inks, great use of the created design, great card!

Hi. I'm not a fan of watercolor backgrounds, but I LOVE how you create them and then use them for die cuts. Absolutely gorgeous, so I'm going to give it a try!

Hello, Stephanie - welcome aboard!
Great demo, thank you. I have made a few of these panels, some I'm using as bookmarks, others for the front of journals. The distress oxides are so versatile aren't they?
Beautiful, does the card feel chalky after it dries? Thank you

Hi Deborah - yes, it has a chalky feel to it, but it won't transfer to your fingertips like real chalk does :-)
Beautiful card ...can u tell me the name of the butterfly die

Love the card! What paper did you use?
What kind of paper is it, I didn’t here.

I used Strathmore watercolor paper for the inking - watercolor paper withstands all of the water better than regular card stock. The card itself was made on a base of my favorite white card stock Neenah Solar White 90-lb.
Sorry that should have read subscribed.!!!
