What a fascinating presentation. Dr. Robertson was a real gem. Thanks to KZread videos others can learn of his brilliance and love for his country.
He was a fantastic professor. He was what a historian ought to be understandable and interesting. There was nothing dry or boring ever with Dr. Robertson.
Simply the best. He always was such a joy and a wealth of knowledge. True American.
Really like how he translates hard research into easily understandable speech.
I soooo wish more authors would self narrate their own books. this man is a prime example of ear candy in my opinion!
I just read his Stonewall Jackson Bio and it was amazing! Wonderfully written, flowed like a novel.
Most people don't realize that you're hearing a true Virginian accent and most people don't realize with computers the generations behind me in the south are quickly losing their accents.
🏆
very intresting :D
@parafleetApparently this entire lecture has been over your head. I suppose you are basing your keen observations on this mans accent rather than the content of the lecture itself. How ironic that you would accuse someone ELSE of any kind of bias.
He is the man. It sucks he is retiring this year. IDC what people say about him, he is an excellent teacher, and BTW, the north was more racists than the south. What you hear about old slave masters beating slaves is completely false. if they did they were extremely stupid because slaves were the key to the economy. Parafleet needs to learn his history before criticizing this man. Robertson is Awesome

So where did all their scars come from? Were they whipping themselves? Interesting.

Andrew Robinson hi, yes, and in 1861 the slaves didn’t have all that much to do as the cotton gin had been invented
you take too long to actually get started....
