I distilled a Big Mac and it was not as horrible as you may think.

I was thinking roast lamb with rosemary for a Caesar. Some crazy combos could be made.
That was awesome. Watching you get gradually more excited and then Erin just nope-ing out at the end. 😂
With the nut and seed flavors coming through you could potentially do a trail mix distillation and get something pretty interesting...
That was definitely one of the coolest episodes I've seen in a long time. and one of the funnier ones.
First greg from HTD makes a mcdouble cocktail, and now big mac vodka? Hell yeah
The era of distilled savory flavors is in
Now I'm wondering about roasted marrow bones. Also I know too many people who like whisky pickle-backs for the fact that you can distill pickle flavor not to be worth something.
As an American, I fully approve of this video. I'd definitely try it if I saw it at a party. Not sure if I'd spend money buying it, but I'd try it if someone offered it to me.
Here is a idea for a future video, what about making liquors like frangelico or other nutty spirits. Keep that first idea of filling out your own bar alive
From the US of A and I approve this message. Happy Independence Day to all the hicks watchin 😀
That was crazy and it was quite a bit of fun. Always nice to see you bride. Thank you!
Here's an idea, perhaps hickory wood, or apple wood... Maple bacon whisky of some form?

MAPLE BACON WHISKEY!!!!! LETS GOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!
My uneducated opinion about flavor order: 1) Sauce comes first because it's the least solid and will quickly get out into the vodka. 2) Pickles are probably next because they do have some juices in the cut sides to leech out. Their lettuce basically has no flavor so I would be surprised if you could taste it. 3) Smoke .. I'm sure they'd deny it, but I would bet that they use artificial smoke of some sort in there. If it was in the burger, that would leech out the slowest. If you'd put the BigMac in a blender first it would've been a weird and different result in my opinion, and NO I'm not suggesting you put yourself through this again! :)
I love this. It is so cool to see the different flavors coming off at different times.
I have been watching you since before you built your own still. That sounds a little creepy, but this is by far probably the strangest thing I've seen you distill, and you've distilled lots of "meme" spirits.😂😂😂 Cheers to your creativity! 🤠🥃
Bizarre but very interesting experiment. Really got me thinking. Thanks!
Always wanted to play around with using lamb fat to wash whisky! Love the idea to distill it pechuga style, a classic Sunday roast distillate with potatoes and the like would be pretty iconic
The special sauce is basically 1000 island dressing.
You mad bastard. Love it. 😀
I still want you to make a Whisky from Chicken food

@Xerxis1988h ah I see, I apologize. We just call that bird seed in the U.S. I could see that being an interesting experiment, nuts and seeds as opposed to grains.
That was too funny lol. "Big Mac farts I am not trying that" haha.
Roast lamb with rosemary and thyme in a whiskey could be very interesting
I freaking love these cause you give my ideas to try but you take out a lot of the mistakes for me and being a poor Brewer that makes a big difference to my pocket book lol
That was so much fun to watch. Keep doing the weird ones. As you said, if you learn something, it was worth the effort.
Next vodka idea?….Soju or sochu. I haven’t seen anybody do it. Love you man!
Amazing Jesse this is why I'm still subscribed to you . I love your vibe . Willing to try anything and learning from it !! Love the bits when you bring Erin in and her face just said it all today 😂. Keep up the good work love the meme spirits and still spirits devices . Peace out dude all from the other side of the world here in the UK 👍
Big Mac vodka? This is so violently American, I love it!! Excellent idea for the 4th of July

I think it lacks gun powder residue and eagle feathers. And obviously it should be a pure corn vodka.
fun video as always. Love your channel. Im from the netherlands and our country makes a sort of vodka from grapes and that is called brandewijn (like a distilled wine). It is an old beverage and not very common nowadays but i think that is distilled with a column to get a kind of neutral drink. They also use that as a base spirit for liquors like our national Oranjebitter (orange bittered liquor with orange peels, cardamom and anise).
The more you know!!! Thank you for doing this so we don't have to!
It's takes people like you coming up with newish things to keep life interesting!!
She approached your test with a healthy dose of trepidation.
It is a Pechuga mezcal, usually made in Oaxaca. it has a smokey earthy flavor with agave.
I can't speak to a New Zealand Big Mac , but US Big Macs have shrunk . I'm pretty sure they used to be 2 ,1/4 pound burgers , and I'm pretty sure the bun used to be a little larger as well . But now the patties are 1.6 ounces . So they've cut 'em by more than half . I hadn't had one in decades ( I prefer a double quarter with cheese ) , but helped my buddy move and he fed us lunch . Grabbed a bunch of various things from McD's . I grabbed a Big Mac and I was REALLY disappointed with what it was .
I like these types of videos. I like the other one too. But, it’s nice to see what can be done. Variety is the spice of life.
now I'm curious about what a soup spirit would be like
Age it in a beer-cask for a hangover-cure 😂
It's always funny to me to see celebratory videos three days after canada day. I think "Oh the video is late" & then I realize its' for the usa lol
That was so funny, and cool. I get what you’re trying to do, learning. Experimenting, new color to your palette, discovering things you didn’t know before. Awesome dude, thanks for sharing. I’ve had good success with a rice, and oat vodka, angel yellow. Comes out fairly neutral, creamy, and a bit sweet. Secret was a slight lactic bloom before stripping run. Cheers mate.
I would love for you to revisit a rice vodka for your next batch. Maybe with different types of rice, maybe using koji?
Meme spirits is peak, don't listen to the haters. Its one of those "Don't ask why, ask why not" situations.
We need a comparison between big Mac vodka, and whopper vodka
Something smoked over a hibachi grill.....anyone who's been to Tanukis cave in Auckland will instantly know the smell....that in a bottle 🤤
Your a madman, Jesse😮 ! 😂 Cheers from Cambridge
Vodka Suggestion- Corn. All Corn. I recently picked up some Tito's vodka from Texas. If I was told correctly it is made from 100% corn and pot distilled, god only knows how many times. It has a clear and light flabor, slightly organic and slightly sweet. It's lovely. Cashew infused vodka might be good... BUT, Why not try making something real with the spirits you make. Rigatoni Vodka is an Absolut favorite around our house (see what I did there?).
I fermented prune juice to around 8% just to see what it tasted like. It was like Barqs root beer. Doing odd stuff leads to breakthroughs.
Candy yams vodka sounds great!! Great video as always thank you

Local distillers don't peat their malts, they Mesquite them. Try and wood, you'll have a unique and beautiful experience
Please do more of these
This is hilarious! 🤣🤣
Jessie....come on mate...yeah highlight the actual distillation and the quirky ingredients.....but next time lets take a moment to celebrate the new chunk of wood you use on the airstill ! B roll please ! hahaha....You know you're close to 1/2 Million subs when you get a new bit of wood hahaha. All the best
I think an apple wood maple smoked bacon bourbon would be a good idea to try!
Fully expect KFC and it's 11 herbs and spices will be attempted soon

Laughing til I can not laugh more ... I will by a AirStill just to cook a big mac for my wife
watching the vids more and more, was questioning, is this just a regular water distiller? if so I can start using it at home :)
A blind taste test of the meme spirits would be very intriguing, and a bloody good prank on your friends!
Big Mac is interesting.....but I noticed that you don't have a Fish & Chips Whiskey yet....

In New Zealand that would be Fush 'n' Chups!!
Maybe a sweet tea vodka. Sounds fun. Or a strawberry banana flavored vodka.
Sounds like a great spirit for a dill-pickle juice martini!
Would french fries distil into a vodka? Could you get the cooked/crisp and salted flavour into the product?
Cool idea. So I now ask have you tried Reese's peanut butter cups, the white chocolate ones?
First: Apple pie would be a good 4th of July meme spirit for next year. But more than just an infusion. Second: the meme spirits are one of my favorites because it’s fast and really interesting. My friends love trying the random stuff I make. Third: vodka suggestion: all grain, but with a non normal grain for vodka, like a rye or rice or something.
I love the meme spirits! ps, Bacon whiskies are amazing!
The "Big VodMac". I'd order this if it was at a McDonalds.

Pitorro shine from PR also has a piece of meat or fruit thrown in it
Before I got in to the video I made the guess that you're probably going to get something that closely mimics the special sauce more than anything else! And when you started describing that you could maybe taste mustard I started nodding with "yep, here comes the special sauce". The sauce is basically mayo, ketchup, pickles, paprika, vinegar and a buttload of sugar with a few other things. I can't imagine the bread really contributing much, nor the lettuce. Maybe the cheese is in there somewhere?
You could do fried hashbrowns for your potato base
I think if you controlled for condiments and such, you could make something good to add to Bloody Marys or something. I could also see a maple + bacon pancake whiskey
stupid question... wouldnt brewing that in a cheese cloth bag like a gross tea bag be cleaner when you run it through the still? cheers mate!
best hurger n fries ever
So I'm still thinking about that pickleback thing, and I remembered that a few years ago Whiskeytribe did a video about distilling an already aged whisky that was apparently really delicious(the distillate not the whisky they were re-distilling), so now I'm wondering if you threw some pickles or pickle relish into a whiskey and distilled it would you have something great, something in need of some tweaking, something that people who like picklebacks will like, or something awful that should never be spoken of again.
Imagine in n out vodka or a McRib version of this😂
Coles (Aussie supermarket) have their versions of the Big Mac and Cheeseburger sauces... this gives me ideas 🤔
In Alaska we have what's called a McKinley Mac it's an Alaskan Size Big Mac
Thought. take each part of a burger, beef, bun, cheese, lettuce, tomato, onion, sauce and distill them individually to see what comes through.
Try it with some Chinese style Teriyaki strips or some good beef jerky ground up look for the ground up jerky that comes in a round chewing tobacco style container. That stuff is the best.
You might've said it before but what's the smallest amount of 4.5% alcohol you'd run through an air still for something weird like this. I got the urge to try to distil chocolate cider now 😛 Oh... distilled milkshake.
Try grilled corn spirits... instead of a Big Mac
Sounds like a good marinade for beef roast or steaks, save some and try it. I'll bet you won't be disappointed. Of course you would have to add other things to it.
I saw frozen cow blood at the Asian Market store. How about a blood/VAMPIRE spirit ??? Gross...probably....interesting...yes! Lots of challenges, separating solids and such. Cheers!!

This is hilarious and awesome man. A vodka that has cholesterol 😂
Big Mac Bloody Mary’s !!!
I can see a Guga Foods collab coming up.
3:58 I think you meant you're going to let the spirit "Big Mac-erate"
Bro, I almost took a bite on your behalf
You’ll never convince me that, that’s not nasty. Lol but I’d try it.
I have an idea for a vodka how about putting Andy’s candies in it or chocolate covered cherries both taste delicious to me.
I sense a Still It/ Guga crossover coming...!
3:30 its inflation lol
Think you need to try bacon something Thanks for all you do
I got it. Expensive, but a maple based rum, with maple bacon in the final run?
I wasn't very American but I'm making mead from V and Manuka honey also mead with L&P and clover honey
I m check. Very good
This made me curious how a vodka made with McDonald's French fries would taste. So salty
Big Macs were definitely bigger and better when I was growing up in Aus
I 100% thought Jesse was going to dump the Big Mac container into the air still. I hate Meme Spirits videos. I always watch them.
Yes make maple bacon whiskey
Now I've seen it all 😅🙌
Yes, proper smoked roast!!! Declicois!
Try well fried bacon. I'm thinking that would make an interesting "peated" spirit.
