The distant horizons mod allows for very high render distance without too much lag and it is compatible with certain shaders.
Minecraft render distance: 12 chunks
Distant horizons render distance: 64 chunks

i didn't use it because it might have caused too much lag

@@theblueaxolotl2669 its the same resolution as default textures so it shouldnt cause more lag
