I swear, he deserves so much more recognition. Writing and singing for two bands while also working on his solo album, and even working still during this pandemic, he's absolutely insane and amazing. Not to mention his writing in multiple genres of music, he's a bundle of creativity and talent ♥️

I've read several comments mentioning how the screams are too quiet, and on one hand, I do agree. I like a lot of bands that scream close up and so it's easy to get used too, it would also be nice just to hear them closer up to get a good idea of how they really sound. However, I do think there's a reason, at least in the context of the video, and perhaps the lyrics but the second one I'm unsure of yet. But in the video, it's pretty clear what the idea is, and I think that's why the screams are so distant. This is what I'd call an empty scream, the type someone makes when they're crying out but know that no matter how hard they try, no one's going to help, no matter how hopeful they are, no one's going to help. In the video, that's the feeling that I'm getting. That no matter how much Yohio screams and wants this to stop, he knows it isn't going to, but he doesn't stop anyway. And the fact that the screams are far away enforce that, in the idea that we're too far away, or too far removed from the problem to be able to do anything to help. Or, I'm reading too deeply into a creative choice, I don't know, but that's the feeling I got from the distant and quiet screams.

Regio's response is probably more likely. Yohio honestly needs to work on his screaming in general. As someone who also enjoys screaming in music, the incoherent pig squeals kind of ruin the impact this song could have, since you can't even tell if he's saying words or just making random noises. I know that's not quite the point you were trying to make, but I personally think the volume of his screams in the mix isn't even the real issue here.

Lance Olson Cant really dis his quality of scream. I mean I have listened to enough of his stuff to realize he has screams on the higher pitch on quality with danny filth. And that is damned impressive, since not many CAN do that.

I can totally hear this song in an anime that's either horror or Victorian era inspired supernatural like Gosick and The Mystic Archives of Dantalian. Also, love Yohio. wow! that was worth the wait!!! I love the visuals! the screams were okay. but it was amazing!

After I became a musician and started analyzing the bands I listened to as a kid, I now see how powerful Yohio's voice is. A voice so powerful that it fills the choppy guitar riffs well

Tell conscious of demise, such things fall away in time. Glad to know Yohio is making content that expresses every part of himself. Well wishes to the future.

Disreign really outdid themselves here with this song! I love the fact that its different from Until The Fade, and was really unexpected! It was a nice surprise honestly!

Well, amazing as always. The melody is simply gorgeous, and the instrumentals gave me goosebumps at times. I like that Yohio's trying to implement his old style on this songs, it was THIS that i always loved about his songs. Amazing.

The sound is amazing and the imagry is so grim but I love their sense of style especially the main singer and I'm stupid and just had it pointed out to me this is YOHIO in another comment thread. Damn does he have some cool music and I am totally jealous of his style.

I love this mans screams because only fuck they are good. It takes a lot of skill to do a full on scream yes. But then we get subtle screams in Nocturnal Serenade where he adds them to the end of notes. Just a slight raw cord tacked onto the end but it adds so much emotion. Yohio really is the best at what he does holly hell

That's not black metal. It has some black metal influence at best, but overall there's nothing about the song that's black metal, even to the point you can call it as a crossover thing like with say, Psyclon Nine's later works.
