Displaying Civil 3D Corridor Targets Inside the Section Editor!

In today’s installment, we’ll look at an approach that can make Civil 3D corridor targeting more “graphical”. By simply adjusting some object styles, users can predictably display corridor targets inside Civil 3D’s Section Editor. Once displayed, designers and engineers working within the Section Editor can easily review targets (and potential targets) in context with their corridor design.

I thought this would be the very first CivilImmersion video that i knew absolutely everything that was presented at it. Until the very last moment. I did not know about the Display Objects in Section Editor. It was a good lesson from me to have my eyes open. I use the two options above it quite often so i should have checked this. Anyway, a rule it is, always worth viewing each CI video until the end. Always something new to learn. Excellent presentation as always. Waiting for the next one...

Sir, thank you for your videos they have helped me understand Civil 3D better. I was wondering if you could do a video that showed how to make a profile sheet that showed the elevation of a road and the elevations of power lines together? I need to make one for a customer and I cannot figure it out.

Great video, I'll put that up there in case someone as a good solution. I design benched quarries once in a while, and as easy as it is to design the pit, I find that putting a ramp from top to bottom difficult. i use the corridor tools, but it takes a lot of adjustments to get it to work on some benched near vertical walls. If anyone have found a good practice for it I'd love to hear from you. (BTW i've used quarry software such as Surpac, and really disliked it.)

Dear I just want to thank you for the tutorials that you uploaded as I found them helpful for my task, I learnt a lot from them. But now I faced a problem in preparing embankment dam particularly rock to since its height or dimensions varies with the reservoir level as well berm at the down stream side. So can you assist me to solve this problem using sub assembly composer?
