    I actually like that he doesn't rush the information and speaks slower. I am able to actually internalize every detail of what he is saying where in some youtube videos they speak so fast i have to continually stop and rewind the videos in order to take notes and catch what they've said.     Ans.1 (a) violet colour is deviated the most because it's speed is less in a medium other than air or vacuum. (b) red colour is deviated the least because it's speed is more.. Ans.2 Dispersion of light is caused because different colours of white light bend at different angles. They bend at different angles because the wavelength of different colours are different. Wavelength is directly proporotional to velocity and inversely proportional to deviation. Red light has greatest wavelength as a result its velocity is more and hence deviates less. Violet light has smallest wavelength as a result its velocity is least and deviates most. Likewise different colours deviate at different angles causing dispersion. Ans.3 1) Refraction. 2) Total internal Reflection. 3) Dispersion

    1) a) Violet b) Red 2) The cause of dispersion of light is: White light is a combination of seven different colors, each with a distinct wavelength and velocity. When white light passes through a prism or another medium, it refracts or bends at different angles depending on its wavelength and velocity. Red light has the longest wavelength and the highest velocity, so it bends the least. Violet light has the shortest wavelength and the lowest velocity, so it bends the most. The other colors bend in between. 3) Formation of the rainbow: Light rays reach the drop near its highest point. There is refraction first, followed by dispersion of white light into colors of different wavelengths. Violet is the most deviated color, while red is the least deviated. Due to the complete internal reflection that hits the drop surface, each color is refracted back into the drop when it reaches the opposite side of the drop. More items

    Q.1) a) Violet b) Red Q.2) Different colors of light travel with different speeds in media other than air like glass water. So, when white light enter an object like a glass prism, the white light splits into 7 colors (VIBGYOR) and then bends again as it comes out from the glass prism. Q.3) Dispersion, total internal reflection and refraction.

    1:-a violet -b red 2 - the cause of dispersion is that different colors of white light having different wavelength ,deviate through different angles on passing through a prism. That is why they split on coming out from the prism along with different directions. 3- dispersion, total internal reflection and refraction.
