Versatility is this band's middle name; absolutely astonishing musicianship all around, most likely creating the atmosphere they intended since the beginning, melodies that envelopes the ear drums with a tender yet powerful energy. An excellent singer that fits the music. Each song a musical landmark. SO happy they came to existence.

Hey! My name is Jakub Zytecki and I play the guitar in a band Disperse! I started playing when I was 12, both on electric and acoustic guitar. 4 years later, my band released a debut album called "Journey Through The Hidden Gardens" and in the meantime, I was uploading a bunch of demo songs on my MySpace page, where most of them became a part of the tracklist for a second Disperse album called "Living Mirrors", released in Febuary 2013. 4 FECKING YEARS ARE YOU KIDDING ME!

This is a very mature work. It's not overblown, it's not pretentious, it has its own identity, with more than a few very catchy and strong melodies, on vocals as well as in instrumental parts. Thumbs up all the way.

I'm living in Poland, English born and wanted to get into some Polish bands. So I type "Polish Progressive Rock". Trubadurzy was my first discovery. These guys are my second. And WOW! These guys have a great tone. "Let me get my colours back" has a certain way about it that I've never heard before. The vocals combined with that 1-2-3-2-3-3-4 percussion sounds fantastic. I'll be checking out the other stuff mentioned in the comments. For the record, I love stuff like Haken, Dream Theater, Devin Townsend, generally instrumental greats.

Greetings from the states my friend! If you like those musicians, here's some more suggestions for you to explore when you've got the time: Chon, Owane, Plini, Sithu Aye, The Helix Nebula, Jakub Zytecki's solo project (the guitarist from this band), Jack Gardiner, Polyphia, Ben Rossett, then some on the harder side would be The Contortionist, Tesseract, Erra, Periphery, Intervals, just to name a few! Much love and I hope you enjoy 😁

This is probably my favorite album of all time now. I really love Foreword also, but Living Mirrors I'm not a fan. It's not a bad thing, they are just proving they can play any style. If I didn't know, I would never guess these albums were recorded from the same group. They are masters of music.

I think that they were more creative on this album. On the second album they follow a more djenty style which I find it fine, but not completely for me. In terms of vocals, I just love the ones on this record haha. Now I'm very expectant to listen to the complete new album.

ZanganoC I can agree completely there. This was very progressive and creative - I had no idea what was coming next. The other album was less original, but I really like the Djent sound and vocals better. It comes down to taste, but I'm with you on originality

Always a good day when I discover some kickass music*....cuz I'm so god damn'd picky! *This is a fucking GREAT album! The band is incredible...truly. Why did I not know about them until today? I smell a conspiracy. OMG! That's it! A conspiracy! Suddenly, it's all become crystal clear to me! Of course! It's all so bloody obvious now! I should have realized there was a deliberate effort in place by a person, or persons unknown, who, through a series of secret meetings and clandestine efforts, colluded with those individuals, or groups of individuals, who were most likely to be within a 1,000 yard radius of my general vicinity on any given day, starting on the date this album was released back in 2012, up until today, August 17th, 2017, (the date I discovered this gem), to keep secret from me all knowledge of the existence of this album. God dammit! I've been blind to what's been going on all around me and right under my very nose this entire time! I've been played for a class A chump. Well...the jig is up - I'm on to you all now. I can't believe you thought you'd get away with it!
