I live next to the airport and around a lot of warehouse alongside route1 up here in Boston, for example are we allowed to go to the warehouses and try to get contracts and book loads or do we have to use the loading boards

I don't look for loads, I let the brokers do it... For what people putting down on trucks to finance I rented 10 from ryder ⚡we doing 50 a week OTR. Y'all thinking too small.

Hi what business address should I use? Did you use your home address when filing for your LLC & Registering with the State?

Def systems cause nothing but issues and create snowball effects. If you said it leaves a bad taste in your mouth when it comes to buying trucks and you don’t wanna delete it because it’s illegal, buy pre 2005 as they aren’t required.

Do you dispatch your own loads ? What does someone need to do to dispatch

Do you pay your driver through a 1099 or how do you go about that?

Me and my partner want to do reefer deliver dedicated for Michigan are you someone we can work with?

Where are you doing OTR? Midwest? Coast to Coast?

Can you make an in depth video on dispatching? I live in Cali and I want to know what to do to be able to get better rates and what areas to target when I go OTR.

I know you probably found this out by now but U-Haul trucks are too low to load on docks and they don’t have liftgates

Bro, 26 ft box truck 94 w and 92 inches height at the door is this good size of truck to do OTR? People keep telling 96w and 96 h at the doo is the best one but budget barely have those type of dimensions

Yeah that’s good bro, it’s better to have more but you’ll be just fine

Renting without a mileage cap is great, but with the new cap is not worth it. I got quotes from budget(cheapest) $500 p/w 15c per miles and 1400 miles cap and that is if i go the amazon route. Not worth it.

@@jackycan2262 yeah i am in NJ. There is lots of people here on youtube that would tell you ots worth it, but everyones situation is different. I have heard Florida is not a good place for box truck is that true? I have family down there love the state, but nyc area pay rates are way higher.

@@dannyhernandez434 Florida is one of the bad states to get good paying loads. I have a few friends on the road, they have to stay outside Florida to get good paying loads. Penske doesn't have mileage caps, but their rates are over $1000/week, which is ridiculous. I contacted all other rental companies, they all have mileage restrictions. Only enterprise allow around 2000-2500 miles a week. (Budget/1400 miles a week and Ryder/1000 miles a week).

@@jackycan2262 yeah thats what i hear. Rental Companies have realized how much money is in the business and their trucks are getting hammered. I went to see a Ryder 2015 Freighliner m2 and it already had over 600,000 miles (2015) and it was taken out of business by 2019. So yeah for them makes sense to get them out of OTR.

I’m having same problem now been down for a week now, been calling all dealerships in the states. QLS sensor in national back order. If u don’t mind can u share the dealer name.? They might have 1 in stock.

@@naplotraders3942 Our unit was at Rush truck center in Joliet Illinois. They had the QLS sensor in stock (815) 553-8300. Now we have same unit in the shop again. had to cancel a load yesterday. Replaced def dosing valve. Tech also found corroded/bad wires going to def heater and heater lines. Heaters were not working, replaced both def heater lines because they were all clogged up. But this time we went to a small local shop and I brought the parts to them. Dealers are still backed up in the midwest.

why you lied men i just start my amzon relay there is only one way loud snd loud is very cheap 250 mile $320 😩

$1.50 is garbage, to be in business and be successful you have to be between $2.40-$2.80 and that is if you own your truck. I don't touch anything for less than that and I make $21-$23k gross driving 3000 miles each week for 3 weeks. I take one week off to be with my family.

Per mile only matters when the distance is far enough. $4 per mile only going 200 miles ain’t nothing for a load that takes an entire day
