Disneyland's 25th Anniversary (1980)

Ойын-сауық

No copyright infringement is intended with this, or any other vide I upload. The purpose of uploading this video is for the viewing pleasure for those that watch it.
This episode is called "Disneyland's 25th Anniversary".
We head back to the original Magic Kingdom for this one, as Danny Kaye hosts this program (and is many of the characters you see) celebrating the silver anniversary of Disneyland. While Kaye is the most omni-present celebrity in this program, he's far from the only one.
Others seen include the Osmonds, whose appearance includes a flashback to the appearance the four oldest brothers make on "Disneyland After Dark" from 1962, as well as Michael Jackson, Patrick Wayne, the son of the legendary John Wayne, as well as Ruth Buzzi, John Schneider from the "Dukes of Hazzard", as well as many Disney favorites, such as Annette Funicello, Fess Parker, and many others.
During most of the program, you'll see a young boy (Adam Rich) be bored and wanting to go home, but after dreaming about a fantastic world opened to him by an "F" ticket (Disneyland attratctions had tickets going from "A"-"E" in those days that you had to purchase separately), after which he wanted to stay, but is convinced to go home.
All rights and credits go to the Walt Disney Company and those that created the video and audio, including the music used in the program. That includes the Disney Chanel, as I recorded this program on their Vault Disney block more than a decade ago.
If there are any others who I'm forgetting, please let me know so I can add them to the list of those to credit.
There's a chance that this video will either be taken down, not allowed up, or I'll be asked to take it down. IfI'm asked to, I will take it down.

That must have been some kind of thrill, since Michael was at his absolute peak at that time. I believe he was at his peak from the late 70s to the early and mid 80s, and this was done in 1980. And even with all the headliners in this program (which are too many to mention), Michael Jackson was still head and shoulders above the rest of them.

You can until it becomes blocked due to all the music pieces in these classic episodes from Disneyland, or Walt Disney World, if that happens. And it's happened to other classic Disney uploads, though most of the ones that have been blocked featured classic animation. Disney seems to have no problem with the history of their parks being chronicled, but some of the music entities, such as UMG and Warner might eventually have problems with some of the music in the episodes. If this episode becomes blocked, I will delete it.

Well, I've seen no evidence that Disney has a problem with some of the history of Disneyland being chronicled, because I'm not the only user to have uploaded episodes pertaining to the history of Disneyland. And being born in 1995, not only did you not have the ability to watch the old Disney series during the time it originally aired, but you were only six or seven when Vault Disney was taken off the air for good in 2002. Another channel that has some old Disney stuff that I don't have is Disneytv4Me. He has some of the programs Disney did (and Walt hosted) in the late 50s in the earliest stages of the Disney TV series, including episodes dealing with the frontier west. I only caught Vault Disney in the last two years it aired myself, and only kept certain episodes, some of which I deleted because they were blocked due to the classic animation in those episodes.

You're welcome. That's exactly why I do the uploads, no matter what the uploads are of. It could be the classic Disney uploads, the Kingdom Hearts series (also a Disney property), which I'm deleting to redo and update later, or anything else I upload. The uploads are done for the viewing pleasure for anyone that watches it, and I always have the comments section open for anyone wishing to comment on the video I upload.

Well, I have had several of the classic Disney episodes blocked, including episodes such as "The Story of the Animated Drawing" (1955), "A Present for Donald" (1955), "The Plausible Impossible" (1956), "Tricks of Our Trade" (1957), "The Fourth Anniversary Show" (1957), "Two Happy Amigos" (1960), and "50 Happy Years" (1973) get blocked, and whenever something becomes blocked, I delete it. And as I said, I'm also taking down the Kingdom Hearts series, which features many classic and contemporary Disney features, little by little, but that's only to reupload and update it later, because there is a considerable amount of updating of that to do (a lot of which I've already done on my DVDs), because of the remakes last year and this year.

I'd say Michael here was still fresh off of his solo career after departing from the Jackson 5, pre-Thriller. Even before his tragic passing, he was a huge contributor to Disney. How else would his Neverland Ranch come to be? Miss him.

twist58 He had, indeed, just started making it big as a solo artist. In 1979, he had a big hit with "Rock With You". And before making "Thriller" and the other songs that made him a giant in the 80s, as well as "We Are the World", a worldwide charity effort to fight AIDS that he was instrumental in, he would have a big hit or two as part of a duet with Paul McCartney.

I have never seen the Wonderful World of Disney due to me being born in 2002, but I remember how my cousins who were born in the 80s and 90s used to tell me about this show and it's specials. Even though I know a lot about the 80s-90s, people would honestly swear that I was born in the early or late 90s but no...I'm not 😅 Even though I was born in 2002, I consider myself a 90s kid because I grew up watching cartoons from the 90s and even the 80s. If you even ask me, yes, I wish they could bring this back to T.V. and even have rereleased VHS tapes and DVDs for this. I miss the way Disneyland/Disney World used to be when they had Toontown, Snow White's Scary Adventures, and more! But thank you for uploading a piece of my family's childhood and continuing this show's legacy.

RealPlayer Downloader is probably the best and most efficient way to download a video to your computer, and from there, all you have to do is to burn it to DVD, and for that, I recommend Roxio, unless you already use a different source to burn the video to DVD. However, some videos will not allow downloading using RealPlayer Downloader, and I have found that the Free Dailymotion Downloader is another good way to download videos, especially those that can't be downloaded via RealPlayer Downloader.

I never saw this. I saw the one that was made in 1970 with Kurt Russell, The Osmonds and EJ Peaker, and I saw it when it originally aired in 1970s. I was 10 then. I only found out about this one right now looking through KZread. I find it strange that this has a scene in which the Osmond Brothers are shown singing when they were very little boys and then showing them as grown men. If this was made in 1980s it makes it all the weirder for me because The Donny and Marie show was cancelled that year.

Those scenes where four of the Osmond Brothers were singing when they were very young was seen in the episode "Disneyland After Dark" from 1962. And this particular episode was done in 1980 to celebrate Disneyland's Silver Anniversary.

36:22 According to Webster, the word "sorcery" means "magic; enchantment; witchcraft; divination by the assistance or the supposed assistance of evil spirits, or the power of commanding evil spirits." One does not have to look very far to see that God's word is being fulfilled before our very eyes. Along with numerous other Biblical signs that our Lord's return is near, we are also witnessing a tremendous increase in occultism. Much of this is obviously due to the way many books, movies, and television programs are glamorizing such evil practices as witchcraft and wizardry. God's word clearly condemns all such practices, yet millions of people, especially young people, are being led to believe that it is possible to be a good witch or a good wizard. Nothing could be further from the truth. Satan is playing a very nasty trick on our children. Books such as the Harry Potter series are presenting two kinds of witches and wizards: evil ones and good ones. The books and movies offer a "built-in" contrast so that no one looks elsewhere for a contrast. That is, the "good" witches look very good compared to the "evil" witches. The psychological effect is that the mind of the reader or viewer becomes satisfied with the "fair balance" and sees no reason to look outside the movie or book for more accurate information. Consequently, millions of people will read a Harry Potter book and never read the Bible to see what God says about witches and wizards. For example, after watching the movie Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone, one young girl said, "Yes, there is witchcraft, but it is mostly good witchcraft." Good witchcraft? Who said it was good witchcraft? God certainly didn't give anyone this impression, so it must have came from the movie or the books. Sadly, this young girl has only been given one side of the story: the Hollywood side. While expecting everyone to be open-minded and allow their children to be influenced by occultism, the promoters of this wickedness have maintained a very closed mind by never telling anyone what God's word says about witchcraft and wizardry. After reading this tract, you will know God's side. Hopefully, you will be smart enough to realize that you've been deceived by filthy rich producers and publishers. They've fed you a massive lie, and you've paid them for it. The money they received from you will help empower them to sell their lies to others in the form of more books and movies.

+MichaelHansenFUN It is; during the late 90s to the early 2000s, Vault Disney would air on the Disney Channel from 10PM to 6AM. It was an eight-hour block of classic Disney films, shorts, and programming. Sometimes were aired with commercials, and others were not. But I suppose the Lizzie McGuire and Even Stevens fans complained that they couldn't watch their shows at 2AM, and since then, the channel's has been 24 hours of tween programming :(

I totally agree. I don't know when they got rid of having different tickets for each area of Disneyland, but it was a good idea to do that, because prior to that, admission had to be paid, not for the entire park, but for each separate area, which was then labeled with a different letter from "A" to "E". In fact, I believe that's where the phrase "'E' ticket ride" originated from, though I can;t be sure of that.

For those of us who are interested in the factual history of Walt Disney and Disneyland, shows like this were always a massive disappointment. The Disney organization always felt compelled to package everything, including its own history, as an "entertainment" program. It's taken decades for straight documentaries and books worthy of Disney's legacy to be produced.

Wizards are, by their very nature, powerful magicians, but there can be male and female wizards, and yes, many of them are evil. I remember watching a 1960s Superman short and it was expressed in that short that a warlock is a male witch. That's where I got that.

***** Wow, you're the uploader of this video, just found that out, lol. The video is nice, I just wanted to expose the witchcraft and magic in Disneyland, in Hollywood, etc. And thanks for teaching me what wizards are, lol. I actually thought women were witches and mean were wizards only, but now I know wizards can be women too. And I'm sure you did see Superman short and found out what a male witch was in the 1960's, they did a lot of witchcraft in the 1960's. It pretty much has to do with wanting to control certain things and people, etc. The illuminati and all that stuff.

Actually, the "wizardry and witchcraft" you see in this episode happens in a dream, in the "F-Ticket" sequence. And yes, I uploaded a number of episodes and specials from the classic Disney series, a few of which I had to take down due to them being blocked, but I still have nearly 20 of them, including all the Disneyland episodes from what I call the "World's Fair Era" on my channel, as well as other episodes from when Walt hosted the series. Some are also on other channels, while some others are only on this channel, as of now.

Glad to see a comment from someone that was actually there for the presentation. Actually, the first time I was at Disneyland was also in 1980, the year this was made. I was in Anaheim with my father for my birthday, which fell on the Labor Day holiday weekend that year, and we made trips to both Knott's Berry Farm and Disneyland, going to Disneyland at night. If I remember right, we stayed at a motel near the 5/91/Magnolia Avenue interchange, so we were close to both Knott's and Disneyland. About the only major place we didn't get to was Anaheim Stadium.

36:22 The Bible is quite clear: there are no good witches or wizards: "There shall not be found among you any one that maketh his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, or that useth divination, or an observer of times, or an enchanter, or a witch, or a charmer, or a consulter with familiar spirits, or a wizard, or a necromancer. For all that do these things are an abomination unto the LORD: and because of these abominations the LORD thy God doth drive them out from before thee. Thou shalt be perfect with the LORD thy God. For these nations, which thou shalt possess, hearkened unto observers of times, and unto diviners: but as for thee, the LORD thy God hath not suffered thee so to do." (Deuteronomy 18:10-14) Now, think about that, friend. Either God lied to you in the Bible, or Satan is lying to you in the books and movies. God said that Sabrina the Teenage Witch is an abomination. God said that Harry Potter and his friends are an abomination. Do you have the courage to believe God? "Ye shall not eat any thing with the blood: neither shall ye use enchantment, nor observe times . . . Regard not them that have familiar spirits, neither seek after wizards, to be defiled by them: I am the LORD your God." (Lev. 19:26, 31) "And the soul that turneth after such as have familiar spirits, and after wizards, to go a whoring after them, I will even set my face against that soul, and will cut him off from among his people . . . A man also or woman that hath a familiar spirit, or that is a wizard, shall surely be put to death: they shall stone them with stones: their blood shall be upon them." (Lev. 20:6, 27) Have you seen any good witches or good wizards in those passages? Let's try again: "Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God." (Gal. 5:19-21) Have you seen any good witches yet? Well, let's keep trying: "Thou shalt not suffer a witch to live." (Exo. 22:18) Notice that God doesn't make any distinction between good witches and evil witches. Every witch, every wizard, and every sorcerer in the Bible is evil in the sight of God! Notice Acts 13:8-10: "But Elymas the sorcerer (for so is his name by interpretation) withstood them, seeking to turn away the deputy from the faith. Then Saul, (who also is called Paul,) filled with the Holy Ghost, set his eyes on him, and said, O full of all subtilty and all mischief, thou child of the devil, thou enemy of all righteousness, wilt thou not cease to pervert the right ways of the Lord?" Witches, wizards, and sorcerers are children of Satan. They may look cute and make you laugh and cry, but God said they are an abomination to Him. Furthermore, rather than seek entertainment from these evil characters, we have been commanded to separate ourselves from them and expose them for the workers of iniquity that they really are. Please note Ephesians 5:11: " And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them." No fellowship! It's a sin to read their books or watch their movies. In the Bible, God's people hated witchcraft so much that they burnedbooks containing this evil (Acts 19:18-20), yet today we have people entertaining themselves with it. David said, "I will set no wicked thing before mine eyes: I hate the work of them that turn aside; it shall not cleave to me." (Psa. 101:3) Friend, don't comfort yourself with the idea that it's okay to look at witchcraft as long as you don't practice it. No wicked thing should be set before your eyes, and no wicked thought should enter your heart (Mat. 5:28; II Cor. 10:5). God is holy, and He will hold all men accountable to His holy infallible words.

Please note that the original Hebrew scriptures that this gentleman is reading from have long been Lost in Translation and have been willfully mistranslated unless he can read the Torah in the original Hebrew and know what it means. I've met religious people who turned out to be horrible and just because somebody believes in a God does not make them good moral righteous or just.
