Team "get in on time" or late entry hahaha

Disneyland AP here saying perfect time to get there is 15 minutes after rope drop. By 10:00am the park starts to get miserably crowded. That's when you get breakfast, go shopping and go back to the resort until about 8pm when you go back to the park. 😊

Doesn’t give you much time during the day, but we get it! Lately you just need to expect that it’s going to be crowded no matter when you go. And have flexible plans too 😊

I havent been to Disneyland but for Disney World I am 1000% team rope drop!!! The amount you can get done in that 1st hour is amazing, sleep is for when you are home lol

Team late entry! My family and I have done rope drop and you do have to wait and wait, then after they drop the rope you have to watch out for the people pushing and running you over. That is not pleasant, I understand the excitement but safety is important! Also, you are on vacation you don’t want to be stressed over it! Rope drop is an expensive, maybe for those who don’t go as much, or maybe once. I Understand the excitement though. Great Vlog! Glad you guys had a great magical family vacation! Thanks for sharing!

Rope drop all day you can easily get on long wait rides in your first hour ! But when ur on your trip do what is most comfortable and least stressful for you

We have always been team rope drop! I agree with you guys about the Matterhorn. I think it and the WDW Space Mountain are very similar in that they are both so jerky. DL Space Mountain is the best for sure!! Looks like a pretty awesome day of making good family memories. 😃

Rope drop, especially at WDW. We try to do the early park entry at WDW, and try to knock out a couple of rides before the rope drop can enter. I haven’t done Disneyland yet. Going in August!!

We are team rope drop at WDW …we get up early anyway. Definitely want to do on our first trip to Disneyland so we can do all the non WDW rides that are not Genie+…then use Genie+. Hope it works out😁 thanks…enjoying your trip👍🏼

Thx!! We really love having experience of doing both resorts now! It was fun to try the same rise in both parks and see the differences. We did Disney World in early 2021 (vlogs are on our channel). Hope you get to experience Disneyland too! Just be mindful that there’s not as many benefits for staying on property at this point as there are in Disney World. No early park entry or extended hours after closing.

I used to do rope drop and then stopped. To go to Disneyland Park morning or mid afternoon I rather skip the line and do the monorail entrance plus the views aren’t disappointing. Chris shirt should say “here for the Disney dad jokes”. I can’t believe you guys broke down on Rise 🫣 and the stress for the macaroons 😂! Love Cafe Orleans! Love meeting you guys and hopefully meet up on a future Disney Cruise if not Disneyland parks. Genie+ should be for peak season not a daily thing so haven’t used it but can’t wait for your guys thoughts on it. Now goals are to watch fireworks from Galaxy’s Edge. Another wonderful vlog!

We were able to take the monorail into DL later in the week! Do they have a shirt like that?! I’d buy it!! And agreed about genie+ only for really crowded days! So good meeting your family 😁 Thanks!!

We love the pink trees in the hub. So magical. I'm with Carrie, I love watching Tea Cups from the outside but not ride them. I might start taking some Dramamine so I can ride them. Ah good old Arrow Development, causing a trip to the chiropractor since 1959 😂 She is rough isn't she? Last time I rode Space Mountain, on row 4, it messed me up really bad. Even then I still prefer it over the original in Disney World. I'd be all over that Horchata Cold Brew! Bummer that it was too sweet. Ugh, I haven't had a raspberry macaron in such a long time. 😭 They're soooo good. Cafe Orleans is always a must when we go. We loved Max Pass when it was around. Looks like you used it pretty well! I have never been to Disney land but I love Rope drop at Magic Kingdom in Disney World. Although the new opening show isnt as good as the previous show.

Honestly can’t remember if there’s ever been an opening show at DL… nothing that’s a thing here. Rope drop at DL is more about shorter ride lines for most. Still slot of fun with all the energy from guests!

We’re definitely rope droppers (even though I am not a morning person outside Disney). We’re at WDW next week, though, and the spring break hours are extended making early entry is so early that I don’t know if we’ll make it.

As a child I was 100% team rope drop! But as an adult with a child I’m team whenever we get there.

Definitely rope drop even though my wife would probably not agree. Fantasyland side of Matterhorn not as bumpy as tomorrow land side. Great video and good information on Genie+. Can’t wait for next weeks video 😃. What kind of backpack are you using that you have your cameras attached to?

👍 😂 at least we’re in the same boat with our spouses. I do like getting enough sleep for sure. I also like to rope drop. Good to know about Matterhorn! I have a peak design everyday zip backpack. It’s not the backpack that I use to hang my camera from. Peak design makes an attachment you can use with most any backpack - it’s called the capture camera clip v3. It’s on Amazon. We didn’t include the clip of our girls talking about it after the ride (by mistake) - it’s way smoother (not super jerky like WDW), the music on the headrest is so fun and they project stars all around the inside. WDW’s space mtn doesn’t have any of that.

Do you get early admission when you stay at a Disney hotel? That might make getting up early worth it maybe? Thanks for the fun video.

Of course!! Unfortunately not. Not a lot of extra benefits right now except that it’s a part of the resort and it’s super close. Hope that changes soon!

May I ask what were the dates you went during spring break? We are planning a spring break trip this upcoming year and just wanna prepare myself. 😀

We were there March 20-25. The main issue with crowds was that it was also spring break for many locals. Good job on wanting to be prepared!

@@AdventuresinMillerland yeah we were there at the end of April last year for two days it was busy but we still managed to fixed every ride so I’m hoping for the same luck during spring break. We usually never go during school break times but with sports it’s the only time we had free this year.

We did like it the first day, and we really liked the shorter lines that came with it. But there were some unexpected things that we experienced as well after using it on multiple days. It’s completely a personal preference. We’ll go in more detail on our haul video 😀
