It hit me that Riviera Orchard sounds like one of the many memory care facilities we have in Florida. Great to see the new hotel! Our kids aged out of Disney but I sometimes miss going.

@@amylynnhunt55. Yes. The real Riviera is beautiful. My husband and I went to France for our honeymoon 47 years ago. We were there in the middle of December. Paris ( which is my favorite city) was freezing but as we traveled south it got warmer and warmer. We went to Monaco, Marseille, and few other places there. The scenery is beautiful and unique. At one outdoor restaurant I ordered the fresh flounder. A few minutes later I saw the waiter reach into a large aquarium and scooped out one and brought it to our table still flopping around asking me if this one was OK! That was unexpected! I didn’t know I was going to meet my lunch!

I love when hubby’s go on conventions and we get to go along!! Mine took me to: Boston, San Diego (twice), Denver, Colorado Springs, Houston, Dallas, New Orleans, and in Canada ~ Toronto (twice) and Calgary, Alberta🎉 And they were always 5 star resorts!! And while he worked I wandered❤😂

We stayed at the Boardwalk back in the mid-90s and IIRC you could just walk through a turnstyle to get into Epcot and there was a private boat that would take you to other resorts, etc. to use different pools or to go to restaurants. It was very nice, but this villa was gorgeous.

Congrats on getting monetized, Jen!! What a happy surprise! So looking forward to all the trips you will take us on through your channel.

Thanks for calling out the Skyliner; any blush of an electrical storm (which could be every. freaking. day. in summer and into hurricane season) and they shut that down. Good luck scrambling for a bus when that happens, because it can take an hour for them to pull them off of other routes. :o I really like the rooms at Riviera, but it looks like they cheaped out on the exteriors and the tower studios. And the cost is redonk when you put even the really good rooms up next to equivalent OKW or Saratoga Springs villas - those are just as nice and cost way less, even after renovation. So glad you got comped by J's work!

Oh gorgeous! Our kids are getting older so we’re starting to take more trips just for my husband and I, but if we do another Disney trip, I would def stay there. Sounds very relaxing after a hectic park day! Love it!

I agree The Meg watches you and I swear she’s fangirling on you! The riviera! No way to much coinkadink. I love love love the goose 🪿 pic! It was meant to be with the three geese 🪿 going on an adventure! I can’t wait to see more. I’d love to see the US through your eyes. You see beauty in everything. How about Savannah ? Or New Orleans next.

We’ve never stayed at Riviera because we feel so at home at Beach Club and my own gosling is devoted to that sand bottom pool. We did have breakfast at Toppolino’s and I thought the Donald was by far the most Donald-like of all the character meals we’ve ever had and we’ve been to every one at least once. The property is stunningly lovely but it did feel more “adult” to me than Beach Club does.

Great quality video, Jen. I'm shocked how different this is from Disney Paris which I visited. This resort is in a different league entirely so thank you for letting us explore with you 💚. Looking forward to your next adventure. Would love to go on a road trip just about anywhere with you and your lovely family.

Oh I love Pop Century they did a great remodel on the rooms a few years ago. When we are paying that is more of our budget 🤣

Did you have the wee one with you? You should ask the management for a tour. I think they'd be happy to show you around , perhaps especially if you tell them it's for your travel channel.

Did it have Disney smell? 😊 In all the Disney properties I've stayed at they all smell so great! I'm embarrassed to admit I still have a mouse soap in my nightstand that I sniff every once in a while for the nostalgia. 😂 (my kids tease me about this)

Check out the Magic Candle Company. They do a great job of matching scents from around the theme parks. You can get candles, melts, and air fresheners. We love "Walt's Office".

The ONLY downside to the Riviera - besides the cost - is that it isn’t Aristocats themed! We did breakfast with Artist Mickey, Minnie, Donald and Daisy at Topolino’s. I would’ve loved it more if breakfast was with the darling Marie. The gift shop didn’t have any Aristocats merch either. Bummer. 🪿🪿

No Aristocats? What a big miss! If you love the Aristocats, there’s a wonderful Disney Dooney and Bourke bag that has scenes from the movie. If you get them at the Disney outlet, you can get them for about $69 and up. I got one that was $296 in the park for $74 plus tax etc.

Great tour! This place is beautiful. The skyline is an awesome way to travel, too! I would like to share a safety tip with the flock. Where you stayed looks pretty safe, but any geese travelling should try to book rooms above the first floor because it's harder fornbad actors to access, and if you are travelling internationally, dont go above the 5th floor because many countries dont have fire evacuation equipment that reaches above the 5th floor. Any other geese have some good safety tips while travelling? Honk! Honk!

Glad you showed me this bc there's no way I'd ever be able to afford to stay there for an hour let alone a fewdays, plus I don't like extravagance and luxury, high end anything bc I know how those things were made & purchased & you need to do a deep dive on Walt and the disgusting abuse that goes on & Disney world is the top spot for certain people go who like children, a lot. I'll let you find out, sorry your bubble is gonna get busted!
