This is the best demonstration for Gaston I’ve seen. I have been trying to figure him out for a long time. Now hoping to pull lots of Gaston in the selection box to get to max skill. Thanks!!!!!

I totally agree! I use to watch another guy (not mentioning names), but after watching Toyboxhunter’s videos, he’s way more better in making us understand how to use their Skills! He actually “slows it down” and really explains what do next! I love it! I normally use Anakin Skywalker, but now that I know how Gaston works, here’s my next Tsum to master!

Here’s what works for me. For SL below 3 or even 0, try to keep 2 bubbles handy while clearing for activating Gaston’s skill. After activating, instead of what’s described here, just burst a bubble for the first two round. Then you will accumulate lots of Gastons at the top to be cleared in the 3rd round when fever time is near the end. You may even want to hold to wait the game’s back to normal before ending your long Gaston chain to be able to activate the skill asap. Won’t get lots of coins, but that will advance your Gaston level quickly while you work on collecting more Gaston to raise his skill level.

Hi, can I charge Gaston while his skill is on? It seems a bug is happening during my play😮

There is no bug, that's actually how the tsum works. The Gaston's that gets changed during the ability won't go into your charge up bar until you are out of ability time. Try to watch the step by step to understand how the mechanics work. Specifically focus on step 1. Let me know if you still have trouble with it.

Finally got to skill level 6 and getting 1-2K coins..terrible! I can't get all Gastons during skill level activation like shown in this video; I must be too slow? Will watch your video again but I can't seem to get it right.

You have to time it properly and know when to pop bubbles. Are you following the patterns?

That's exactly why I recommend some people to max out Rugby Mickey instead of Gaston or Jedi Luke because Rugby Mickey is a lot easier to use. Is your Rugby Mickey maxed out?

@@ToyBoxHunter Yes!!!! finally got to skl 6 when RM was in the selection box this month. I can’t play Jedi Luke, Captain Lightyear. Namine, etc…so all the ones that require more skills! I think us normal players like easy tsums and we can multitask while playing. Luke/R2D2 is fun and good coin farming to play but you can’t space out.

Why in Japanese version people get 8/10k coins with same bonus? I can’t get more than 6.5k…

It's possible if you play really fast. Its possible to get 10k too in the international version, you just need to make sure your chains are connected properly and as long as possible

I tried and it is not working as expected (maybe got patched). When in skill mode, clearing gaston tsum does not add skill charge.

I just tested it out and it still works. You have to time it properly to do this. Give it another try and I can help you out if it doesn't work.

I have the same issue. Since the dropping Gastons during Gaston time to not count towards his skill, whenever time is up I start new and different tsums fall down. So I never reach the point where it's only Gastons on screen. Why do your Gastons count towards his skill and mine don't?

I have the same problem. Third chain doesn’t add to his skill counter so I can’t use his skill in time and other tsums start dropping… and I play fast 😅

Omg so glad I’m not the only one with this issue! I thought something wrong with the way I play so I kept going back and watch the tutorial and I finally realized that my 3rd chain of Gaston never counts toward the skill fill up 😭
