Storytime i was going to the Disney store in my area specifically for toy story i had a 40 dollar budget i was torn between woody and buzz but in the end i chose woody but as i was waiting in line i kept looking over at buzz and frowned but behind me a person who was a toy story fan gave me 30 more dollars and said go get buzz for your woody partner. He said he would save my spot in line i grabbed a buzz and got back in and thanked him and payed for it and now im here

8:16: I actually like that Disney Store Buzz doesn’t have any click joints on his legs because I feel more confident when moving them. With my Signature Collection Buzz, I feel like I’m gonna break his legs when I move them because of the click joints.

​​@@todayigrewup I'll be honest, mate. The 'Disney Store' Buzz Lightyear's laser noise sounds like a machine gun. PS, all the buttons you pressed made Buzz say all his English phrases.

I now have this toy! It has many of the functions Buzz does in the movie, like you showed. The head is harder plastic than I imagined it would be. It's also possible to open the helmet without the "whoosh" thing, and the karate chop arm comes loose quite easily. The box was slightly damaged, but I will still use it as a display piece. I've already put it in the place I want to display it. Turns out the batteries that came with it were already inside the toy.

I bought one of these for my 4 year old daughter at Disney Hollywood studios. Not 3 hours later she decided to “make him fly” down the stairs. He landed helmet first on the ground floor tile. She shrieked with excitement and yelled “he flew!” Now, his helmet won’t stay shut or open all of the way. At least she had fun.

This is a great Buzz Lightyear for Playtime, the features and Phrases are excellent! One detail I noticed on the 2020 Disney Store Buzz was the Face was more Life-like.

I managed to get one without bonnie on the boot. He does have some minor imperfections such as some paint marks and stickers peeling slightly. overall he is worth it when your on a budget. Also the reason Thinkway didn't use the karate-chop action on their Buzz is because there wouldn't be much articulation on that arm so they decided not to do it.

@@todayigrewup maybe, but what i like about the head is that woody is looking forward instead of to the side, it looks less off but again i dislike the phrases, another thing i hate is that is it says "Bonnie" on his boot instead of "Aᴎdy", i own a woody from 2018 & it's voice box maybe removed & the back part maybe stitched but i wouldn't replace him with a new woody (but i may replace my 2019 buzz with a new one since his karte chop arm doesn't lock back into place).

This version of Buzz has all the features like the karate chop action and the flip up wrist communicator and the light up wings and a button to open the helmet.

Hey quick question, I've had this buzz for a week and I've noticed the waist of mine is loose and if you shake him it'll spin his torso left and right. Is this the same with yours?

Yes Disney store isn’t the greatest quality. It’s more a play toy then it is a collection piece

Woody,Bo,and Forky each have 2 new quotes with each other,Buzz 2 new quotes with Woody and Jessie,Jessie 2 new quotes with Woody and Buzz,Rex 2 new quotes with Woody and Buzz.And Bullseye nothing with no one but intense galloping sounds.No telling what Zurg can unlock🤔

@@todayigrewup Honestly yeah! I saw these $75 ones I think at Walmart when Toy Story 4 came out and thought thats too expensive for a feature filled Buzz, especially when I'd want the other main characters as well.

Do check the front face shield, slowly slide your finger behind the back of the front face shield to check for sharp edges, I actually got one that has sharp edges.Also change the batteries too the wing out gimmick spring is just too powerful and it actually damage the connection for the red led and then start to leak some sort of white transparent liquid for my buzz.I cleaned it but the red led connection sometimes would lose connect if you use the wing gimmick too many times.

Actually there are other One,the cheapest One for Toy story 4,that i used to do a miss.nesbit,you Can see It in my collection ,unfortunately the video Is in italian,oh and the other One Is a Toy story 3 (maybe i Will put the link of this One if i find It)that haves the Carate chip like this,but he doesn't have the features Like the wings or other,they are Just sculpted,those two are made by thinkway Toys,a cool Company,even for Minions figures or animatronics of you want to call It like that

I had a much more basic Buzz growing up, but long story short, they ended up being mistaken for garbage in the exact same way as in Toy Story 3 haha Unfortunately, my toys never made it back. But I've always wanted a movie accurate Buzz Lightyear. Upon doing some research it's clear that the Toy Story Collection one is the best but you need to spend $300 to get one. Ultimately I had to end up with this one. Thank you for helping me make up my mind :)

Check to see if a screw is lose in the back somewhere, tighten all the screws. If that doesn’t fix it then I’m sorry but something may be wrong or broken and you may need to get another one because I do not know how to fix that.

What i like from disney store one is their buzz’s wing a bit longer than thinkway

I haven’t had any issues with lasers personally I’ve been lucky

My old toy story buzz lightyear broke when I had to remove the helmet, so the Disney store buzz could be a good replacement. Even though the collection buzz was my favorite one😔

The only thing that I have a problem with on this figure is that with the karate chop arm its not as apossiable as the left arm and in the movie both of buzzes arms articulate the same way

I just got a Disney Store Buzz on Amazon that does not have a name on the boot. Do you think it's a 2023?

Mine was the one from the Disney parks. It has the phrase "how dare you open a spacemans Helmet on an uncharted planet my eyeballs wouldn't been sucked from their sockets"

I tried to wait for sales on this toy, but apparently, I snooze I lose, because it's more expensive now. That said, I still have the gift cards I need to afford it. So I can still get this toy.

Hi there I really love you channel and have just subscribed :) I have a question that hopefully you could help me with. I just bought the Disney Store Buzz yesterday as they were having a sale for 25.00. It looks just like this one in your video but everyone in the reviews and videos says that he has Boonie or Andy written on his boot but my Buzz is blank with no writing. I went back and asked but obviously they couldn’t know without taking them out of the Packaging. Same with my Bullseye with no written either. Also my Buzz doesn’t have the triangle like yours but has a zero, on, and a one symbol. Any idea which line this is? Also do you think the Woody from this line is worth getting? Thanks :)

I'm looking to get this Buzz Lightyear toy for myself after Christmas on Amazon. Why after Christmas? Because it'll be on sale due to After Christmas sales being a thing. I like how many of the functions from the movie this Buzz toy has. Looking at earlier Buzz toys that I'm not sure if I still have or not, this new one is not the best in terms of movie accuracy. Hopefully, if it ships with the box, I can use the box as a display feature. I've seen the box for the toy, and while the wings are printed (and that's a shame), it still mostly looks like the one in the movie. I won't get any more toys that this Buzz can talk with, but I'll still keep it in Play Mode anyway. I set up a space for the box to go, and I have an idea for where Buzz himself will stay.

This Buzz version is probably the best you can get right now under 40 dollars, aside TSC version which is rare and very expensive. Let's hope to get a even better version in future after Toy Story 5 comes out.

mine seems to work just fine...when I opened up Buzz voice box before sometimes the buttons are the same voice command...like green and blue are the same sound phrases...

Hey i found my old buzz my parents got me years ago and i cant find it anywhere on the internet could you attempt to tell me which one it is, it has wings that dont pop out there stuck in the out position there also bendy, the laser works and the speaking buttons, its quite large, the wing button doesnt do anything and it has a flying motion where tassels come out from under the jet pack and the thrusters glow blue and make noise, any clue also tell me if you need more info 😁👍

The problem with the head swap for this new Buzz Disney store glued the screw caps so now I can’t take the head off 🥲 so you can only mod Buzz if it’s 2018 and older model.

When I went to my Disney store in Woodburn outlet mall there were a ton of buzz light-year’s Woody Jesse Bullseye zurg and other toy story characters that were on retail price from what I heard my Woodburn outlet is a store where they have things that didn’t sell so they just have a ton of them but they didn’t sold and have them and retail price

ever since I was a kid Ivwe always wanted one. now I was able to afford one bc im way older and it.s so cool. I just saw the toy and I was like "I want one bc ive always wanted one". I love holding it and using the karate chop. eventually Ill get a slinky and mr pig as well as mr potato head. Thank the Lord that I picked up the one prior to this because I’m sorry. It has to say Andy. Not Bonnie. Granted it could always be fixed, but another thing is the toy detector. I really like when they stick really close to the source material. I agree with the karate chop hand not making him easy to pose. I thought mine was broken. I got really scared until I realized that there was a button in the back. I’m confused because I have the same exact one with the same box. However, mine says Andy below the foot, and it doesn’t have the toy detector. Which honestly I’m fine with. Same thing with my Zurg.

I thank they Should have buzz talking about his inner voice for the interactive phrase

You’re never too old for toys. When you’re an adult you can still buy and collect toys. Did you know adults work in toy factories and adults work to make and design the toys so that’s a real job you can do one day.

i think if they raised the eyes upwards it would look accurate to toy story 1 ( because he already has that awkward kind of smile)

I live in Brazil, I wanted a Buzz from the signature collection, but here it doesn't have any more, do you still have the toys from the signature collection?

In America they also no longer sell signature collection. stores don’t sell collection or signature collection anymore. I think they might come back for Lightyear movie in 2022 OR when and if Toy Story 5 comes out. They seem to only be in stores for the movie promotion then after a year they stop selling them. The only toy story toys we can buy is non signature like Mattel action figures and thinkway toys budget versions and Disney store toys.

I think they need to fix buzz head and laser sound because it's not film accurate if it's a movie toy but overall it's a toy to play with

Yeah I agree!

My woody is extremely quiet, to the point where you cannot hear him most of the time. I just opened Buzz for my son and for the life of us we can’t figure out how to get the wings to shut 😅🤦🏻‍♂️

@@todayigrewup Thestopped turning and when the helmet goes down and up it does not register does not react like it used to the other problems are basically just stickers falling off a check and buy replacements for that

I just got a Disney store buzz and i got it for Christmas my shield was blurry but i am still greatful

also you need to interact woody with forky or bo peep so the phrases make more sense
