The Treasure Coast is a hidden gem. (My DH grew up about 10 miles from Vero.) Super chill. Tons of quiet beach and great fresh seafood.

I loved Vero Beach! Be careful what time of year you go because we went when it was “no-see-ems” (a biting bug) season and those things were biting us like crazy lol but yes it is so nice and quiet and the rooms are large!

I am so glad you made it to Vero!! I have been coming here since I was a toddler (normally twice a year) and now I am 22, and the resort is amazing and totally underrated!! My entire family and family friends know all the cast members here, and the cast members here remember the guest for years! Some people have worked here longer than I have been going here, and its truly a family resort and a beautiful place to be!!!

Very nice vlog about Vero Beach. I am a DVC member and have been to Vero a few times. My home resort is Old Key West. Love the beach vibe at Vero Beach. It's a fantastic resort. It is an excellent retreat from WDW and so close. Last year we went to Vero Beach on our WDW trip in the middle of the trip, so we rested and came back to Orlando recharged and ready for part 2. You showcased the resort very nicely. If you do go back, not in an off-season, there can be a lot of kids there. They have really cool pool parties daily for kids and adults too.

My family and I went to Vero Beach in June 2019 and it was still so empty!! We absolutely LOVED the resort (5 days, 4nights) and it was the perfect amount to unplug and have fun!! Also loved Wind and Waves at dinner and breakfast!! I can’t wait to go back to Vero Beach because it was genuinely one of my favorite Disney vacations I’ve ever taken

We stayed at Vero Beach in 2012 and it we had the best time ever. I highly recommend a stay there

I live in Vero, maybe about 30 minutes from the resort! Always wanted to take a gander up there and appreciate videos like this.

Go for it! My parents are DVC members and we became DVC member last year with Aulani our Disney Home resort. Hubby was apprehensive about it but when he sat down to listen more about it he was all in! Happy Birthday Dev!

Let the Birthday Celebration begin. You are 100% right, I got that same burger at Epcot and it was like $15. My daughter was looking for you this whole weekend told her that you may not be in because of the Marathon which was actually not that horrible I thought the crowds would be worse but it was not. What was bad was the traffic getting to the parks. This hotel looks awesome and something that I will look into, thank you and Bianca for sharing. PS the Drone video looks GREAT!

Vero Beach looks really awesome and that's amazing that it is actually cheaper than the parks! I definitely would consider going there now. I would say maybe hold off on becoming DVC members at least for a year or two, only because you mentioned wanting to travel more in previous videos, so you don't want to tie up too much funds into DVC quite yet.

Thank you for the video. It was probably low season. We went to the Vero beach resort for the 4th of July one year. Very beautiful and very crowded. Stunning resort with lots of things to do. Mini golf was free for DVC members. Free DVD movies as well. They have an arts and craft room outside by the restrooms. Make sure you are aware of the hours of operation and activities for the day. They had some activities for the fourth of july during the daytime, nothing special at night. We had to drive to a park nearby where they had a firework show. Keep in mind...if you are used to the activities at night, and Disney Springs at the Disney resorts in Orlando- don't expect that here. They pretty much send you to bed by 8/9pm. They close down the minnie golf, shut down pool, close bars and restaurants. You can't be out on the beach because it is pitch black. The WHOLE area closes early to minimize lights due to the sea turtles that nest in the Vero Beach area. We were used to staying up late during our Disney vacations in Orlando, we were not prepared to send ourselves or the kids to bed by 9pm. Room service was also very limited/closed later on at night. Parking is also limited and tight. In conclusion, our family decided it was a great resort, but did not want to return due to all the restrictions. For the points, amenities, and entertainment we LOVE Old Key West resort at WDW.

We are heading to Disney in 12 days to spend 8 days. We had talked about doing a day at the beach but didn't follow through. But maybe on our next trip down it'll be something we could consider, for sure.

This just came up on my suggestions list, and look at the date. Seems so long ago now. What changes there have been since your Birthday. Yet then you were filled with too many tourist closer to the Disney central areas. This is like a look back in time.
