I do hope future development of the A1000’s make it even more realistic. While I like the animation feel of fluid movement I’ve seen some videos of animation mockup of the Elsa animatronic in frozen ever after compared to the actual running animatronic and it’s not as snappy when her arms are moving which makes it feel a bit more stiff. You can kinda see that with the shaman too. I think they could fix this problem but maybe it’s an aesthetic thing

Even if Chuck E Cheese can't get free-roaming animatronics, it would be nice to see them have more advanced animatronics. Granted, they'd need to DRASTICALLY overhaul the character designs, especially Chuck E himself [at least the 2D art of PTT era, Tux era, and Avenger era Chuck were cute, Rockstar era Chuck on the other hand is just plain hideous IMO]. I'd like to see them combine elements from PTT, Tux, and Avenger CEC eras. Chuck himself for example could keep the purple and green color scheme, but regain his tux, derby, and snarky personality back. The fluid movements of this Disney animatronics are exactly how a new take on the CEC animatronics could be.

the funny thing is people putting these videos out thinking most people want to see what these characters look like under the hood. but in reality, it probably scares most people to see the bare animatronics...

It’s unfortunate that Disney has sole rights to this technology because current robots don’t have the realism in the face movements of some of the more recent Disney robots. Like for example, watch any video of the AI robot “Sophia“ they have tried to give her different facial movements, but none of them look quite right and it makes her very uncanny. If they could combine AI with some of the facial capabilities of the Disney robots, they could be incredibly realistic

All the (valid) talk about the gaze animatronic mimicking human social cues and micro details is really funny considering that, in it's current appearance, it's constantly giving the most malicious Kubrick stare I have ever witnessed.

Part of the reason I think they focused in Lincoln's renovation was because Lincoln was one of Walt's personal projects, so they did it in his honor, this might not be true so don't take my word for it.
